Akshay Kumar’s Holiday is continuing its winning run at the box office, even though a big film like Humshakals released in theatres last weekend. The film has collected Rs 106.69 crore in 19 days since its release and should go on to be beat the lifetime collections of Jai Ho – currently the highest grosser with lifetime business of Rs 112.49 crore.

With Holiday going on to be Akshay Kumar’s 3rd film in the 100 crore club, the actor shares the 3rd spot with Aamir Khan and Ajay Devgn in the all time list of actors with most 100 crore grossers.

Humshakals Friday and Saturday Box Office Collections

Humshakals opened well at the box office on Friday and held up to around the same level on Saturday at the India box office. The film, released on around 2900-3000 screens in India, had the 3rd widest release for any film this year after Jai Ho (3900 screens) and Holiday: A Solider Is Never Off Duty (3250 screens). It was the biggest ever release for a Saif Ali Khan starrer.

Holiday Second Week Collections

Holiday has collected Rs 30.62 crore in its second week at the box office, which is a drop of around 55% from Week 1. The film held up well at multiplexes, with almost all circuits holding up well after a decent first week.
