Holiday has topped the highest second weekend collections for films released in 2014. The film is ahead of 2 States by around 6 crore and has beaten Salman Khan’s Jai Ho by 10 crores.
Holiday is the second best trending film of 2014, as the drop in business from its first week (56%) was only worse than Queen, which was the only film in decades to collect more in its second week compared to its first.
Holiday could also beat the 3rd week record, currently held by 2 States (Rs 11.59 cr), but that would depend on how well the audience respond to Humshakals. If the new release this weekend is received poorly, then Holiday could even collect 13-14 crore or more this week.
