Saif Ali Khan’s Humshakals is doing fairly well at the box office, after a decent first weekend. The film has collected Rs 46.57 cr in 5 days and should finish its first week with business of around 55 crore.
In comparison, 2 States collected Rs 60.12 crore in its first week, Gunday collected 62.56 crore, Holiday collected 67.87 crore and Jai Ho collected 87.59 crore. Humshakals will be the 5th highest first week grosser of 2014.
Ek Villain releases in theatres this weekend and that film is carrying huge pre-release buzz. So it remains to be seen what sort of an impact Ek Villain has on the business of Humshakals.

The funny thing is indicine gives the numbers in decimal form.For Ex- Sunday:14.36 cr. What my question is, how exactly can you tell that? This site is biased (and I visit here only to read funniest comments). It gives producers’ figures for some films and it’s sources’ (which they don’t have btw) figures for other films.
Its playing a “Representing numbers in decimals” trick to make users think that its accurate. Desperation is visible indicine.
And these so called team gives reviews when we moviegoers return from first show on friday(have food, get some sleep and then their review appears) bcoz they don’t have the idea of when the previews are arranged. :D :D
