Rann Movie Review
Cast : Amitabh Bachchan, Sudeep, Ritesh Deshmukh, Paresh Rawal, Mohnish Behl, Rajat Kapoor, Gul Panag, Neetu Chandra, Suchitra Krishnamurthy, Rajpal Yadav Director : Ram Gopal Varma Rann is a film that promises to expose the Indian media, which today is influencing the lives of millions. Ram Gopal Varma through the film deals with a very relevant issue in today’s time of the corruption plagued news channels – the TRP battles, unethical journalism, masala entertainment in the name of news et al. A compelling, hard-hitting experience is what you expect from a film like Rann, but does it deliver?
Veer Movie Review
To be honest, I didn’t really have great expectations from Veer. The promos weren’t too exciting, Anil Sharma’s last few films were strictly average, the cast wasn’t very appealing either and Zarine Khan looked plumpy (if that’s any reason). But about 30 minutes into the film, it turned out to be quite enjoyable, the first half infact was very enjoyable. Before we dig in any deeper, the story first. Veer is a revenge tale of the Pindhari’s against the Raja of Madhavgarh. The Raja (played by Jackie Shroff), a victim of the Divide and Rule strategy employed by the British, betrays the Pindari’s killing thousands of them. In return one brave Pindari, Prithvi Singh (played by Mithun Chakraborty) chops off the right

Dulha Mil Gaya Movie Review
Dulha Mil Gaya is one of those films that you walk in without any expectations. Its been in the making for far too many years and the lead stars hardly arouse any interest of watching the film first day first show. Getting down to introducing the film, its directed by first time director Mudassar Aziz and stars Fardeen Khan, Sushmita Sen, Ishita SharmaJohnny Lever, Parikshit Sahni and Shahrukh Khan in a special appearance (no, not close to as long as his role in Billu)
Pyaar Impossible Movie Review
Pyaar Impossible, is the second production venture of Uday Chopra (first was Yeh Dillagi in 1994). Directed by Jugal Hansraj under the Yashraj Banner, the movie is written by Uday Chopra himself and has Priyanka Chopra as his female lead. Anupam Kher and Dino Morea have supporting roles . The promos looked good and the music has done well too. But does the film entertain?

De Dana Dhan Movie Review
Akshay Kumar’s much hyped De Dana Dhan released worldwide today and the expectations quite obviously are high. For one, the film reunites the Hera Pheri team of Akshay Kumar – Paresh Rawal – Suniel Shetty and director Priyadarshan. Over the years, Priyadarshan films that I have loved in particular have been Hera Pheri, Hungama and to a certain extent Hulchul. De Dana Dhan promises more – 25 character actors along with a thrilling water-flood scene as its climax. Story is something, we cannot expect from Priyan’s films. But is it entertaining enough to deserve the price of your tickets? Read on..

Tum Mile Movie Review
Set against the backdrop of the Mumbai floods on July 26th 2005, Tum Mile is a love story directed by Kunal Deshmukh of Jannat fame. The movie stars Emraan Hashmi and Soha Ali Khan in lead roles and like most Vishesh produced films, Tum Mile has blockbuster music by Pritam. Touted as Hashmi’s most expensive film to date, the expectations are high from the Bhatt – Emraan combo. Do they deliver? 26th July 2005 – the day when the city of Mumbai came to a standstill and close to 1000 people died in the heaviest rainfall ever recorded in the city for a 24 hour period. But amidst the tragedy, it reunited 2 ex-lovers. The movie is about

All The Best Movie Review
All the Best doesn’t really carry the hype of Golmaal Returns that released during Diwali last year, but Rohit Shetty returns once again with a comedy produced by Ajay Devgn (he recently dropped the alphabet ‘a’ from his surname). Currently, slapstick comedy films in Bollywood aren’t really enjoying the dream run we witnessed for the most part of the decade, the success ratio for comedies has dropped drastically in the last couple of years. Could it be the lack of freshness in the treatment or is it the banter that is getting repetitive, which is boring the audience? We don’t really know.. Lets get on with the review All The Best Review What works for All the Best Good performances make All the Best an enjoyable experience, without which it would really be hard to sit through this Rohit Shetty film. Ajay Devgn is
Blue Movie Review
Blue is one of the most anticipated movies of the year and according to the makers, its by far the costliest Bollywood movie ever. Starring Akshay Kumar, Sanjay Dutt, Lara Dutta, Zayed Khan and Katrina Kaif (special appearance) Blue directed by Anthony D’Silva is the much hyped Diwali release. Does it live upto expectations and justify the Rs 800 odd millions spent on this action adventure thriller? Blue Review 3 reasons to watch Blue Underwater visuals : Sequences filmed underwater are a pure visual treat, something never witnessed in Bollywood before. Credit : Peter Zuccarini (Pirates of the Caribbean) Fabulous Action : About 4 Bike sequences provide the necessary adrenaline rush, the sequence on the train is the best of the lot.
Main Aur Mrs Khanna Movie Review
Produced by Sohail Khan, Main Aur Mrs Khanna is yet another romantic drama set in the contemporary world. Directed by debutant Prem Soni, the movie stars Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor in lead roles along with Sohail Khan. For a film released along with an action thriller ‘Blue’ and comic caper ‘All The Best’, promotions have been relatively low key, Salman hasn’t really gone all out to promote this like he did quite successfully with ‘Wanted’. Also Love triangles have been done to death in Bollywood. Does Main Aur Khanna hold any novelty? Or is it just another remix of the old versions? Read on

What’s Your Rashee Movie Review
The Oscar nominated director of Lagaan returns after working with 3 of the biggest stars in the country Aamir Khan (Lagaan), Shahrukh Khan (Swades) and Hrithik Roshan (Jodhaa Akbar).. comparatively What’s your Rashee is a much smaller movie starring Priyanka Chopra in 12 different roles and Harman Baweja as the most eligible bachelor. Yet the expectations are sky high and understandably so. But what unfolds in this terribly long movie on Sun Signs, is Gowariker’s worst work in a long long time. A movie that not just falls way below expectations, but surprises you with its mediocrity. Is this really, for real, an Ashutosh Gowariker directed movie? Read on as we dissect the positives and negatives of What’s your Rashee.
