Also, the ticket prices have increased quite significantly, not many families can afford to pay Rs 2000 for every movie outing. And finally, there is piracy too. Downloading and watching a movie from the internet is easy. So, unless a film is truly worth the price of a ticket, audiences prefer to stay away from theatres.
