Rajnikanth Discharged from Singapore Hospital

Tamil superstar Rajinikanth was on Wednesday discharged from the Mount Elizabeth Hospital in Singapore and will remain in that country for some more time. According to informed sources here, the matinee idol will be in Singapore for a few more days at an undisclosed location. The 60-year-old actor, who made his mark as a character actor in the movie “Aarulirunthu Arupathu Varai” (From six to sixty years) was flown to Singapore on May 28 and was admitted to the hospital the next day. In an acquisition coup, audio giant T-Series has picked up the audio rights of three of Balaji’s multi-starrers – “The Dirty Picture”, “Kya Kool Hain Hum: 2” and “Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai: 2”. While “The Dirty Picture” is expected to release in cinemas on November 10, “Kya Kool Hain Hum: 2” and “Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai: 2” have been slated for an April and August 2012 release respectively. “The Dirty Picture”, with Naseeruddin Shah, Vidya Balan, Tusshar and Emraan Hashmi, features music by Vishal and Shekhar, and lyrics by Rajat Aroraa. Ready – All time Blockbuster?

Ready has shocked and surprised the trade once again. The demand for the movie is just mind-boggling at the moment. Second Friday (8th day) witnessed a drop and the film managed a decent 4.5 crores.
