The best time to release a film is usually after exams and the hectic cricket season that includes the Indian Premiere League. And the makers of Housefull 2 are working on a tight schedule to release the film, 6 days after the IPL Final.
This year the IPL Final was played on May 28th and if the Board of Control for Cricket in India decide to stick on to the same schedule next year, Houseful 2 will release on Friday, June 1st 2012.
As a film, there is a lot to look forward to in Housefull 2. The star cast is interesting and includes veterans like Rishi Kapoor, Randhir Kapoor and Mithin Chakraborty. Director Sajid Khan was keen on having Deepika Padukone opposite Akshay Kumar, but the actress walked out to star in Rajnikanth’s Rana.
Deepika’s loss was Sonakshi Sinha’s gain and the actress was signed on to play one of the female characters along with Asin, Zarine Khan, Jacqueline Fernandez and Shazahn Padamshree. Housefull 2 also stars John Abhraham, Shreyas Talpade and Ritesh Deshmukh.
With such a huge star cast and Sajid Khan at the helm we expect Housefull 2 to be nothing less than a laugh riot!
