Ready has shocked and surprised the trade once again. The demand for the movie is just mind-boggling at the moment. Second Friday (8th day) witnessed a drop and the film managed a decent 4.5 crores. On Saturday it picked up, but what’s shocking are the collections on Sunday, which according to our early estimates could be as high as 9 to 9.5 crores!
Single screens were full all over, infact extra seats were added on many screens to accommodate more people. Most multiplexes were houseful too for the evening and night shows. We spoke to a 11 year old kid, who had come alone to watch the evening show of Ready at a Mumbai multiplex. Filled with excitement, he couldn’t wait to watch the film which he says all his friends loved!
The craze is unbelievable and if our early estimates turn out to be true, then Ready could have crossed the 90 crore mark in 10 days!
Its a Blockbuster already, but could it go on to be an All Time Blockbuster? Whatever it is, Salman Khan is on an absolutely dream run. Watch out for Bodyguard, the lifetime collections of 3 Idiots could be in danger!

Ready needs to be somewhere near Dabangg’s nett to be an All time Blockbuster, which at this stage looks highly unlikely. The way its trending, even if it does well in the next 2 weeks, it is likely to end up around 15 crores short of Dabangg.
