Welcome Back vs Hero: Salman unhappy with the clash?

When Salman Khan tweeted “Back off” before announcing the new release date of his home-production ‘Hero’, it was said to be a direct warning to Anees Bazmee and the makers of ‘Welcome Back’. In a strange decision, ‘Hero’ and ‘Welcome Back’, both Eros International films, are scheduled to release on September 4. The date, which was vacated by Dharma Productions’ ‘Shaandaar’, was immediately taken up by ‘Welcome Back’.

The trailer of Anees Bazmee’s ‘Welcome Back’ has been released on the Eros Now website, but the makers of the film are yet to release the trailer on Youtube. The ‘Welcome Back’ trailer begins with Anil Kapoor and Nana Patekar, who are in search of a eligible bachelor for their sister (character played by Shruti Haasan), who is in love with Ajju bhai (played by John Abraham).

After a quick vacation with his kids, Hrithik Roshan returned back to work. This time around, the actor was spotted shooting for a ‘Gulshan Kumar tribute song’ with Sonam Kapoor in Turkey. The song is ‘Dheere Dheere’ from Mahesh Bhatt’s 1990 classic ‘Aashiqui’. The music of the film, which completes 25 years this year, was composed by Nadeem – Shravan.
