Karan Johar has postponed the release date of his upcoming directorial venture ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’. The film that was first announced to release during the ‘Post IPL’ period in June, has been pushed by a few months to Diwali 2016.
The announcement sets up yet another big clash, as Ajay Devgn’s ambitious directorial ‘Shivaay’ is also scheduled to release during Diwali next year.
The director of films like ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’, ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham’, ‘Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna’, ‘My Name Is Khan’ and ‘Student Of The Year’, will be directing Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.
The tentative release date of the film is November 4 2016.
The clash between ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ and ‘Shivaay’ will be the second high-profile clash in 2016, after ‘Raees’ and ‘Sultan’ both scheduled to release during Eid.
Good move and now yrf will be decided the release date of Fan which is Post IPL Period…
But fan is also supposed to come on Diwali
2016 …. so get ready for a clash !
