Karan Johar has postponed the release date of his upcoming directorial venture ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’. The film that was first announced to release during the ‘Post IPL’ period in June, has been pushed by a few months to Diwali 2016.
The announcement sets up yet another big clash, as Ajay Devgn’s ambitious directorial ‘Shivaay’ is also scheduled to release during Diwali next year.
The director of films like ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’, ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham’, ‘Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna’, ‘My Name Is Khan’ and ‘Student Of The Year’, will be directing Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.
The tentative release date of the film is November 4 2016.
The clash between ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ and ‘Shivaay’ will be the second high-profile clash in 2016, after ‘Raees’ and ‘Sultan’ both scheduled to release during Eid.

YRF should have booked Sultan for Diwali. I don’t understand the unnecessary need for publicity for SRK and Salman to pit them against each other when there is no way that is going to happen. YRF and Ajay Devgan don’t get along anyway so Diwali clash would have been ideal.
It’s about time Aamir’s movie gets a clash and Dangal is a safe option because there is no Hirani or Dhoom franchise this time.

@trooper but the problem is Aamir alone able to stop any film to achieve big milestone. For example if there was no clash between Welcome & TZP than Welcome would be highest grosser of 2007 who knows could became all time grosser ( Dhoom 2-80cr), so srk’s OSO became the highest grosser of 2007. Dangal will be more commercial than TZP for sure and releasing against Aamir film is a bug setback. Srk ko bol pankha release kar le.

@Trooper raju hirani and dhoom brand need aamir for their films. Dhokm 3 despite average reviews was ATBB because of only one name aamir khan. Dint cry. Clash with dangal is no safe option as aamir is much bigger star than srk and he has way more fan following than fanless sarookh. If fan or rice clash with dangal then it will be a flop comeback of sarookh after Ra.one. Dangal will be All Time Blockbuster and break PK’s record. Only aamir competes with himself.

@gj007,you took my comment in a wrong way.when I said software engineering aka CSE is substandard to MECHANICAL ENGINEERING?????in fact they are the highest earners(depended upon companies & performance) then all engineering branches.but the difference is that they have no free time just like MECHANICAL ENGINEERS(in bigger companies/Govt. Sectors), and software engineers are also the busiest among all trade engineers,that was my comment’s meaning but you couldn’t get it.are you a CSE student,I guess so,just asked.but I’ve respect for whole engineering community.
BTW there is a huge difference is that CSE/SOFTWARE engineering studies in colleges is is really easy compared to MECHANICAL/ELECTRICAL branches which are tougher than software in studies at colleges.but after doing jobs in companies it becomes reversible ,software jobs are harder compared to MECHANICAL/ELECTRICAL engg. jobs.that’s the difference,both are equal in their respective fields.

oh, yes, I’m a CSE student. Though I don’t like to give out my personal info. on public forums, I had actually rejected Mechanical in a reputed college for CSE, so I dont like when ppl make fun of CSE calling it easiest branch of engineering.
3 idiots had nothing to do with CSE, but I dont know why many mechanical students were annoyed with that film. Whatever that is, I still love that film. Your choice if you hate it and hate aamir, but pity that you spend so much time hating him.

You do realize that no film is perfect and hirani films will never be, because he treats them like fables.
Going by your logic, is it possible to enter inside someone’s mind and change his thoughts. No, right? Yet, inception is a cult.
To cut long story short, Hirani is a hardcore commercial director, but he doesnt just stop at that, he also forces you to look at things from different perspective and challenges your pre-concieved notions.
He’s one guy who can entertain every section of society. I dont expect him to make shawshank redemption, so i know exactly what to expect from him.
@gj007,yeah that’s the main point.3i can be considered as a great ebterainer of last decade but my point was specifically to engineering it has no contribution,because even though after getting the real concept of a subject,you surely need to do hardworks for theories as well to practice numerical problems in order to do well in the exam.so until and unless entertainment concerns Raju Hirani is the giant entertainer in Bollywood.because unlike other directors,he takes socialised matter whatever that strikes his mind that’s the best part of him and with out any item song,overrated fights,dialogues He can make even bigger Hit.that’s his passion and touches audience’s hearts through his coolness.I liked all of His films,while pk neither could entertain me nor it’s performance(all actors) was up to mark ,truly speaking I didn’t like the film at all.while I all of his films are very much entertaining while LRMB is my best Raju Hirani film among all.
But when it comes to reality,neither raju’s films nor even hollywood sensation inception is seems like a cult to me.why I couldn’t know but now a days I am seeking more and more reality in films,for which reason my film watching habit also reduced by a huge margin from last year and in this year I have already watched more Hollywood movies than bollywood in theatre.truly speaking I only watch big eantertaining movies of bollywood(except salman’s craps,south remakes/cheap masala movies) in theatre.the remaining movies I have to watch this year are—-brothers,welcome back,Shaandar,DILWALE.meanwhile if any good movie com then I’ll surely you watch.but when I was studying engineering I was going once in every 3-4 weeks to watch Bollywood movies.
