Kites Exhibitors Feeling Cheated

It had to happen. But it has happened sooner than expected. Exhibitors, who had paid fat MGs (minimum guarantees) to Big Reliance Pictures, the worldwide distributors of Kites, were bound to feel cheated about being given an English film instead of a Hindi film as mentioned in their agreement. And they are feeling exactly that after releasing the much-hyped film of Rakesh Roshan. Not only was Kites promoted as a Hindi film with ‘a bit of Spanish dialogues’ but the fact that it is an

Kites Review by a die-hard Hrithik Roshan fan!

Kites Review by Sudha, one of Hrithik Roshan’s biggest fans. She was at the UK Premier of Kites, held last night in London. Its one of the most passionate reviews we have read and quite clear that Sudha literally idolizes Hrithik. Read on.. *********************************** I was extremely restless and couldn’t concentrate much on the film, knowing that Hrithik is around. So I’ll write whatever I could gather. Kites is different, unpredictable, mind blowingly awesome. A passionate love story which keeps you on the edge of your seat and make you want to fall in love. It blithely leaps from romance, to musical, to action adventure, to western, referencing any number of Hollywood genres along with one of the more beautiful musical scores in recent memory. The romance, in particular, was as intense as Nicholas Sparks‘ ‘The Notebook,’ and the chemistry between the leads was off the charts. I have to say I was surprisingly entertained and am a better critic for having seen this film.
