The craze for Hrithik Roshan’s Kites in the overseas markets is unprecedented, as the film gears up for the biggest and widest Bollywood release ever with over 200 prints in the United States and Canada.
Due to the craze, demand and stupendous response to the advance booking, the distributors (Reliance Big Pictures) have decided to hold special paid previews a day before the actual release date on May 20th 2010. For many theatres, that usually show only Hollywood flicks, Kites will be the first Bollywood film ever.
Kites – The Remix, the international version of the film, edited by Brett Ratner will release a week later (28th May 2010) in many more theaters.
Stay tuned for much on Kites through the week and next as we await the biggest Bollywood release of the year.
