After working with director Kabir Khan in the 2009 super-hit New York, Katrina has been signed on to play the female lead in Ek Tha Tiger opposite Salman Khan. She is currently in Dublin shooting for the movie. Ek Tha Tiger will release during EID in 2012 as the release was deferred on request by Sallu’s good friend Aamir Khan who wants to release his movie – Dhuan – on the same day.

Dharma Productions has some biggies lined up for release in 2012. ‘Agneepath’ releases in January, followed by ‘Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu’ in February and then the first Karan Johar directed film minus Shahrukh Khan ‘Student of the Year’ is tentatively locked for release in August. A few days ago, they also announced Deepika and Ranbir’s much-awaited return in Ayan Mukherji’s ‘Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani’.
