The EID weekend every year is now owned by Salman Khan! Like his previous two blockbuster’s Dabangg and Bodyguard – which also released during EID, Ek Tha Tiger directed by Kabir Khan will also release as the world celebrates EID next year.
Earlier slated to release on June 1st 2012 it is now being pushed forward on request by Salman’s good-friend Aamir Khan who wishes to release his next movie – Dhuan – directed by Reema Kagti on the same day.
Producer Aditya Chopra and Salman Khan willingly obliged to postpone the movie. The cast is currently in Dublin shooting some of the action scenes.
Here it is, then the final release dates
- Dhuan Release Date – June 1st 2012 (just after IPL 2012)
- Ek Tha Tiger Release Date – EID 2012

jaaneman ka promotion 10 % tha don ke saamne n people like to watch action movie more than serious drama movie…kabhi toh apne muh se ache word nikala karo doosro k liye :)

ra1 definitely bg ka record todegi coz usko profit kamane k liye india me 200+ cr ka bussiness karna zaroori hai …Bodyguard se compare karna chhod do ..jitna bg ka budget tha utna paisa srk ne publicity me lagaya hai …bd ko 55cr ka profit hua hai …n ra1 ko break even karne k liye india me 200 + n overseas me 100 + cr ka bussiness karna zaroori hai ..tab jaake profit hogi..

@aashkaran You are right dis time nd since ETT is postpone for Eid 2012 I pray to god Sallu bhai 2nd release of the year should clash with yash chopra nd srk next I pray that this should happenand dhn may the best man win but dnt forget last year inspite of srk much hyped Mnik Dabanng was the biggest hit of the year with double box office collection
yaar never say DAbangg was big hit..though mnik was hyped..MNIK was off-the beat film..Dabangg was vvery massy..
At the end even after storming India..Dabangg made 208Cr and MNik made 192cr worldwide..

dabang is a crap and janeman is way better then don remake . no one can beat srk movie on diwali maybe aamir will. and on the same line noone can beat salman movie on eid wheter srk or ett. as far as ett postponed is concerned it’s much better for salman then aamir . if they compete then both will win but amir movie must collect more than ett bcz he is coming after 2.5 yars gap. both the movies will have to settle for bb tag now they are not competing so they have chances of getting atbb tag
