Bol Bachchan is scheduled to release in theaters tomorrow. The lucky people over in Gujarat get to see the film before the world – at the 12AM and 3AM screenings all over the state. Midnight release for Bol Bachchan in Gujarat

The keenly awaited Bol Bachchan releases in theaters tomorrow, but for Gujarat viewers, the film is set to release at midnight. Reason? For the convenience of the women observing the auspicious Jayaparvati fast. This year, the Jayaparvati fast for the well-being of one’s family started on July 1st 2012 and will end on Friday (July 6th).  According to belief, women stay awake all night and break the fast the next morning on the 6th day.

This particular song, also features Amitabh Bachchan as he tries to re-create the magic of ‘My Name Is Anthony Gonsalves’ from one of all-time favorite movies ‘Amar Akbar Anthony’. We have all seen and loved Amitabh Bachchan in Amar Akbar Anthony. The energy and charm, that has enthralled the audience for over 4 decades, is still intact. Sadly though, Rohit Shetty and co try hard to recreate the magic of the iconic ‘My Name Is Anthony Gonsolves’ song, but fail miserably. In short, the song is poorly choreographed and it isn’t very catchy either.

Bol Bachchan is shaping up well for a huge opening at the box-office. The trailer has worked big time with the masses, Ajay Devgan has a fabulous record when teamed up with Rohit Shetty. Talking of Shetty, he hasn’t delivered a flop in a long time. Abhishek Bachchan’s character has also received tremendous praise.

With back-to-back hits like Golmaal Returns, Golmaal 3 and Singham, Rohit Shetty films have a huge following now. And judging by the hype before the trailer, Bol Bachchan too is expected to open to a great response at the box-office. Quite liked the trailer – high on action and humor.
