The keenly awaited Bol Bachchan releases in theaters tomorrow, but for Gujarat viewers, the film is set to release at midnight. Reason? For the convenience of the women observing the auspicious Jayaparvati fast.
This year, the Jayaparvati fast for the well-being of one’s family started on July 1st 2012 and will end on Friday (July 6th). According to belief, women stay awake all night and break the fast the next morning on the 6th day.
So in order to entertain the women who are fasting, the makers of Bol Bachchan have decided to hold midnight screening all over the state – the first show will be from 12 am to 3 am. The second show will begin immediately and end at 6am.
We spoke to someone from the production house, who said “This is the first time that a movie is releasing early, specially for this occasion and it is an innovative way to celebrate it with a laugh riot like Bol Bachchan”.
Bol Bachchan starring Ajay Devgan, Abhishek Bachchan, Asin and Prachi Desai, is directed by Rohit Shetty. The film is loosely inspired from the 1979 classic Gol Mal.
Trailer is not so impressive. But i’ll watch it becoz i m a die hard fan of rohit shetty’s movies.
