After a good weekend at the box-office, Rohit Shetty might just dire
“You want me to make a sequel? OK, we will think about it,” said Rohit Shetty at the Galaxy Theatre, here in Mumbai. He and Abhishek visited the theatre to gauge the reaction of the audience.
Abhishek, who finally has a hit, after a few debacles was up for the idea as well.
“He (Rohit) is a sequel king. He has made 3 or 4 sequels and I have worked in 3 or 4 sequels too. So if he says, we both are ready but now we have to persuade Ajay” said the actor.
“Today, our movie has been screened here and is being liked by the audiences. So it feels good. Till now, we haven’t met the audience. We are standing at the back waiting for them to know their reactions. But the biggest compliment is that the movie is running houseful,” said the 36 year old Abhishek.
After Golmaal in 2006, Rohit made Golmaal Returns in 2008 and Golmaal 3 in 2010. While the first was an above average grosser, the second and third film in the series did well at the box-office.
Bol Bachchan released in theatres on July 6th 2012 and is based on Hrishikesh Mukherjee’s Gol Mal.
