Jewellery designer Farah Ali Khan (sister of Sussanne Khan) is known to be close to Salman Khan’s family. Soon after the verdict on the hit-and-run case, Farah took to Twitter to blame the people sleeping on the road. “A sad day personally for me to know that Salman Khan has been convicted with maximum punishment. Salman is responsible for the lively hood of many people at large and the judgement is too harsh.

The superstar was tried under the charge of culpable homicide not amounting to murder, which is punishable with imprisonment up to 10 years. If the verdict goes against him, Salman will be taken into custody immediately. He will have to apply to the high court for bail.

The trailer of Mohit Suri’s latest film ‘Hamari Adhuri Kahani’ is out! The film features ’The Dirty Picture’ stars Emraan Hashmi and Vidya Balan. ‘Hamari Adhuri Kahani’ is said to be based on the real-life love story of filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt’s parents. The title of the film is inspired from the song ‘Humari Adhuri Kahani’ from the 2006 film ‘Gangster’.

Rishi Kapoor’s look in ‘Sanam Re’, plays 80-year-old man

Rishi Kapoor will be playing the role of a 80-year-old man in his upcoming ‘Sanam Re’. The film is being directed by Divya Khosla Kumar, who last director ‘Yaariyan’ and produced by her husband Bhushan Kumar. ‘Sanam Re’ also features Pulkit Samrat, Yami Gautam and Urvashi Rautela. Avengers: Age Of Ultron continued to do well in its second weekend, collecting Rs 10.65 crore at the India box office. Rock On 2 shoot to begin in August 2015!

Excel Entertainment’s Rock On 2 will go on floors in the month of August 2015. The producer of the film, Ritesh Sidhwani, also confirmed that the sequel to the 2008 classic ‘Rock On!!’ will release in August next year. “‘Rock On!! 2? starts at the end of August and the film will release next August” Sidhwani told reporters at HT Delhi’s Most Stylish Awards 2015.

Being Human hasn’t donated money to Nepal Victims: Salman Khan

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has issued a clarification on Facebook that his ‘Being Human’ foundation hasn’t donated money to the victims of Nepal earthquakes. There were rumours doing the rounds that his non-profit charitable organisation, which operates in India, had donated money to Nepal.
