It’s been a day filled with emotions. While most people have come out strongly in support of Salman Khan, a few like Farah Khan Ali and singer Abhijeet, quite clearly overwhelmed and shocked by the verdict, posted utterly senseless tweets (Read article).
However, the most sensible tweet of the day, came from someone who is often unfairly criticised for her poor IQ.
Actress Alia Bhatt tweeted “It hurts when your own are punished, even if they are in the wrong. We love you and are standing by you”

Journalist Yashwant Deshmukh had earlier tweeted “It’s morally, ethically & legally RIGHT thing to stand by the side of your friend and family in the time of crisis. But retain sensibility.”
We also liked Ayushmann Khurrana’s tweet “Let the law take its course. And let his fans be his force. Let the judgment be the difference between the two. And we know who may win.”
The verdict on Salman Khan’s 13 year old hit-and-run case was delivered today. The superstar was sentenced to 5 years in prison.
Everyone should be blamed. Those victims were not supposed to sleep on footpath but they did so they died. Salman should not have been drunk and driving on the footpath instead of the road. If the govt. had provided proper development those victims would be alive and Salman would be punished only for drunk driving and not homicide.

Salman big hearted man was the one who helped Shahrukh when he had nothing to eat or place to stay. Srk was starving and homeless during his early career. If Salman hadn’t helped him, forget a star, Shahrukh would be a spotboy today. He owes a lot to Salman.

Its very sad to hear this tha SALMAN KHAN has been sentenced to jail for 5 years. Because he is a celebrity, he is facing such strict judgement. Its not only his fault, its the fault of the Government for giving us such a pathetic roads, Fault of government for not giving shelter to people ( else the victims would not be sleeping on roads), Fault of Salman khan for drinking and then sitting behind the steering wheel, ( As considered by the judgement today).
He is exactly like KARNA in Mahabharta, who is better human being than most of us but still facing the verdict because of one wrong deed.

Why every1 saying it was a crime? I guess its called accident and u know what, in a day how many such accidents happens in india ,u cant even count easily and how many died everyday ,
but in such accidents only few get jailed who doesnt have money for fines,rest are freed by taking fines and there driving license are canceled, and u r searching justice here where the mistake was from both side though was more from salman side . My advice is If some1 doesnt believe in indian judiciary then no one has force u too live in india ,u can go to another world
