Jewellery designer Farah Ali Khan (sister of Sussanne Khan) is known to be close to Salman Khan’s family. Soon after the verdict on the hit-and-run case, Farah took to Twitter to blame the people sleeping on the road.
“A sad day personally for me to know that Salman Khan has been convicted with maximum punishment. Salman is responsible for the lively hood of many people at large and the judgement is too harsh. I hope he gets some reprieve in appeal.”
Farah sympathised with the victims who suffered in the mishap but also added that Salman is a genuinely good human being, who wouldn’t even think of killing someone.
“Prayers for Salman and all families affected by this judgement. God is great. Keep faith. I do feel sorry for the victim and his family and did not say that there should be no punishment. However I feel it should not be maximum.”

Farah also blamed the government for not providing housing for the poor people.
“The government should be responsible for housing people. If no one was sleeping on the road in any other country Salman would not have driven over anybody. It’s like penalising a train driver because someone decided to cross the tracks and got killed in the bargain. No one should be sleeping on the road or footpath. It is dangerous to do that just like it is dangerous to cross tracks.”
Singer Abhijeet also tweeted in support of the actor and compared those sleeping on roads to dogs.
“Kutta road pe soyega kutte ki maut marega, roads garib ke baap ki nahi hai. I was homeless (for) an year never slept on road. Mumbai ke road aur footpath pe sone ka shauk hai?? Why not at your village no vehicles to kill u.. Support Salman Khan.
“Suicide is crime so is sleeping on footpath.. 80% homeless film people struggled to achieve stardom but never slept on footpath” he added.

Thats an important point. Even if Salman was drunk how would he have expected people to be sleeping on the road?
Sleeping on the road is like sleeping on a mountain cliff. Those people are responsible for their own death.

Sleeping on the road should be made a criminal offense, so we dont get any such cases in the future. There are lots of places to sleep if you dont have a home, but these idiots sleep on the road.

I always watch this issue “The Foothpath” issue in big city Mumbai, many movies i watch which was made in the story of Foothpath.
Mumbai’s population is 11.90 Millions (1 Crore 19 Lacs)
Karachi’s population is 31.5 Millions (3 Crore 15 Lacs)
Whereas According to area Mumbai is bigger than Karachi but according to population Karachi has double population than Mumbai but i never saw this kind of problems in the City, don’t know why the govt of india can not controlled this issue.
Hope this issue Foothpath issue will resolved as soon as possible.

why not its their mistake also cuz footpath is not for sleeping. u cant sleep on railway platform’s seats also. but first this is guilty of indian government who cant keep equalization for rich and poors. why peoples cant get 3 imp things of living food, cloth and shelter just because some others store that things in their store rooms for benefit. rip curruption.
