The official release date of Shahrukh Khan’s much-awaited ‘Dilwale’ has been announced. Like ‘Dhoom 3’ and ‘PK’, two films that set all-time records at the box office, ‘Dilwale’ will release a week before Christmas on 18th December 2015.
The makers are currently shooting for the film in Bulgaria, after which they are expected to shoot some under-water sequences in Mauritius.

The final release date of ‘Dilwale’ sets up a clash with two other films that are also scheduled to release on the same day – Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Bajirao Mastani’ starring Ranveer Singh – Deepika Padukone and Feroz Nadiadwala’s ‘Hera Pheri 3’.
The situation is similar to last year, when ‘Bombay Velvet’, ‘Welcome Back’ and ‘PK’ were all announced for Christmas, but common sense prevailed and the biggest film ‘PK’ eventually got a solo-release.
While there are reports that ‘Hera Pheri 3’ is likely to be postponed, the cast of ‘Bajirao Mastani’ have reconfirmed that their film will release on 18th December.
srk and rohit cant afford a 18thdec rls they r not aamir rkh combo or this is not dhoom s series those films did well coz of their content nd we all knw wht rohit shetty makes so wom wnt be tht gud for dilwale nd it cant take the advantage of Christmas holiday..25th dec was a gud date to rls dilwale thts wht i feel

Diwaale will struggle to cross 100 crores. kajol is old now and so is srk. the movie ride solely on varun’s shoulders and moreover varun and kriti’s chemistry. nothing more to expect from this crap. only aamir can break his own records. can’t wait for dangal next christmas.

Realistically speaking it can collect somewhere around 300 crores without clash… Any sort of clash proves harmful for both films also money invested on both films are quite high so hope both of them take wise decision…

Dhoom 3 was Aamirs worst movie but did 285 crore on Aamir’s name itself. But HNY couldnt cross 200 crore inspite of Deepika and Diwali lol. Srk is nothing with Deepika or big directors. This time he has brought Varun to save his film.
In overseas Srk crossed $20 million only once, that too with the power of KJo and Dharma in overseas. Aamir has crossed $25 million thrice. No comparison betwen YRF-made-srk and megastar Aamir.
