Happy New Year Worldwide Collections
A section of the media has incorrectly quoted the worldwide collections of Shahrukh Khan’s Happy New Year as Rs 380 crore. According to official sources, the film has collected around 360 crore in 3 weeks, making it the 2nd highest grossing film of 2014 behind Salman Khan’s Kick.
The Farah Khan entertainer will complete its run as the 2nd highest grosser in India this year and the highest grosser at almost every single overseas market. But the difference between the two films will be the domestic business, Happy New Year will fall Rs 39.2 crore (gross) short of Kick. Do note that the entertainment taxes in Rajasthan circuit came into effect from August 1st 2014, i.e a week after the release of Kick.
Bang Bang was outstanding in the overseas markets and did fairly well at the domestic box office too.

Its a very sad thing that srk films since 2008 only rnbdj n ce trending good n rest of others become successful becuse of opening weekned, before 2008 every srk films trending good. Bad trending indicates lossing fans n the fact is srk lost his fans by doing films like ra1 n hny. Hope srk will be back with a bang with fan n raees

shahrukh was ahead in 2001-2004(k3g-bb,devdas-hit,kal ho na ho-hit,veer zaara-super hit,main hoo na-hit)
hrithik in 2000( kaho na pyaar hai and mission kashmir)
salman in 2005(no entry and maine pyaar kyun kiya)
2006 was hrithik’s with aamir khan’s fantastic return(fanaa-superhit) and shahrukh’s(don-hit,kank-semi hit) good run
2007 was of shahrukh khan(oso,cdi) and akshay kumar ( 4 hits including 2 superhits)
2008-2009 was of aamir completely(ghajini-mega bb and 3 idiots-atbb)
2010-2012 total salman domination(5 back to back blockbusters)
2013-aamir’s year with shahrukh and hrithik also performing excellently
2014 is again salman’s
Good collections but very less than expected coz I predicted 352 crores in India and it collected just little more than 352 crores worldwide
kick still best of so far. even kick is better than all srk movie…

@ranbir kapoor liked your comment….its reality……salman ruling since 2010 no one can denying that…..but before that he was nowhere. ….SRK ruled up to 2007 single handedly but after 2008 to 2014 he is always in top 2 or top 3….neck to neck with salman n aamir…its just he did variety film n in that period suddenly negativity around him was increased. …..but still he delivered hit after hits wiyh different genre’s. ….

The hype plus promotions of HNY generates unrealistic expectation. Always knew this will not even cross CE forget Kick. I had predicted 190-210 still it will fall short of 210 crs but in same range…. I am waiting for Fan though. One advise to Srk fans, dont hype unnecessarily n build unrealistic expectations. Same goes for other actors fans including me. Just enjoy movies & have fun leave business for trade experts, actors & producers !!!!!!!!!!!

which is marginally ahead of ”Kick”.

Oh, yes. it’s a party time for all of us. this is the greatest and most memorable day for all of us, as our king took a big revenge to salman. salman broke our king’s last year’s ATBB Chennai express’s record with his kick by a very small margin of 5 crores difference, so our king also did the hisaab baraabar by breaking salman’s 2 years old record of ek tha tiger by even smaller margin of only 3 crores difference. we are so much proud of our king.

Salman biggest hits of his career during his peak time aik tha tiger and kick collects combine total worldwide 700 crrs makes the avg of 350 while bhaijaan lovers consider hny 365 crrs as a letdown ohhh how big there expectations from king hatts off to u baadshah

But for this film I will only judge depending on its content .
All the three films have done very well…. Especially Kick….
I think Bang Bang did quite an excellent business considering the clash & other factors…
HNY too did well but fell short of expectations….. But its overseas is a disappointment coz his films usually do very gud business….
Anyway now its time for some raw acting and real drama in RAEES and a family entertainer yet intense film FAN.
