FAN has collected Rs 18-19 crore on Sunday at the box office, taking the 3-day collections to 52 – 53 crore net – as per early estimates (official collections will be published in the morning).
Multiplex business did show decent growth on the 3rd day, especially at metro cities where the occupancy for the noon and evening shows was pretty good.
Monday now becomes all important for the Shah Rukh Khan starrer. Tickets at multiplexes are sold for a cheaper price during the weekdays. For example, PVR Juhu in Mumbai was selling night show tickets for Rs 380 for the weekend, the same show ticket for the weekdays (Monday to Thursday) is 30% cheaper at Rs 270.
Since the film is performing mainly at multiplexes, the drop in ticket prices will have an impact on business.
Ideally, FAN needs to hold to around the 9-10 crore mark on Monday. This would give the film a fair chance of not only recovering costs, but going on to become a decent grosser.

- Friday – 19.2 crore
- Saturday – 15.4 crore
- Sunday – 18-19 crore (approx, early estimate)
- Total – 53 crore (approx)

Dear akki and salman fans…n whoever has doubts about his megastardom then plz checkout Wikipedia list of biggest movie star u will find your ans..FAN is a kind of movie which will be remembered for its grand VFX and SRK acting…which salman fans can only dream of…bcaz bhai has a certain limitations beyond which he cant never perform…This kind of genre is not kinda mass appealing as it has certain type of audience and they loved it even haters did…hope you remember tashweer 10x,Talaash etc they also failed miserably.. and its not the case with FAN…PEOPLE ARE LOVING IT..with clash and non holiday release it is making great no. Worldwide..with this kind genre if it earns around 120 Cr in india and 80-90 cr overseas…It will be considered as huge success…so plz educate yourself before spitting rubbish outta your mouth…this doesnt mean i dont admire akshay kumar,Amir khan,Salman khan…i do love them and their movies…#APPRECIATE GOODWORK…
I am not good at prediction of BO figures. I estimated 17 Crores for Saturday and 21 Crores for Sunday. But I am proven wrong both times!!!

@Neeraj FAN is a 30-35cities film which get 70-75lakhs footfalls, Barfi was a fluk as per BOI got 1cr plus footfalls, so srk factor can add few more footfalls in FAN it shouldn’t be compare to films like piku neerja or even Airlift because all of them performed poorly outside big cities even Airlift had better wom but SRK acting in Fan way better than amir pk. Swedesh was also floped.

Just finished watching FAN. Very disappointed. Bollywood shud stop making half baked films in the name of trying something different. 102cr max!
Fan looked like a content rich film.I had eagerly waited for it .But poor script and direction made this movie suffer big time.The Jungle Book has excellent 3D effects and I loved it too and it’s taking advantage of the loofall of the fan,the collections of TJB is higher in second week coz of +ve WOM.

@SRK fans.. there is nothing personal against you guys. I know how it feels when films of your favourite actors doesn’t do well at box office.. atleast your star is doing 2-3 movies a year now.. we (hrithik fans) have to wait for 2 years for one movie.
All that we do here.. we support our favourite actor and feel good when their movies do well and sometimes when their rivals movie don’t do as well as our favourites.
Other than that.. love SRK.. will watch all his movies.. hope he makes a strong comeback with Raees and shuts everyone up.
