The first indication that Veer may not go the Wanted way, was when the collections first dipped on Saturday and later dropped quite significantly on Monday. Republic day (Tuesday) business helped the film get close to the first week numbers of Wanted, but the huge crash on Friday (Week 2) and further drops on Saturday and Sunday has meant that the film is highly unlikely to attain HIT status.
The fact that the distributors share is high from single screens has ensured the “moderate success” tag for the film, but business overall has been well below expectations.

- The lifetime nett of Veer is likely to fold up under 45 crores, with a distributors share of around 25 – 26 crores.

Akki doesn’t do different role????? have you seen sangarsh, awesome acting, romantic role in Yeh Dillagi, dhadkan, namastey london and dil to pagal hain. Crime thriller khakee, villainous role where he won numerous awards ajnabee, also tasveer, war film ab hawaale waathan saathiyo, thriller khiladi, aankhein, psyco thriller where he played a good pyscic doctor in Bhool Bhuliya. a natural pujhabi ka munda in singh is king. his populairty mainly grew when he started doing sangarsh, hera pheri, dhadkan, aankhein, and it kept on growing. sallu who has just few romantic roles and tere naam to boast about, has he done anything other than playboy or done negative role.

i am not Anti Salman
but when i gave 3 star review of Veer and 50 cr prediction. u guys started bad comments about me and u started hate me, which i dont deserve. i did my job very good with honesty but instead of appreciation u guys hated me . and these things i didnt like .
i know i put a short review of veer and i didnt mentione positive points clearly , but i could mentioned it later , remember i gorgot to write music review of DDD which i wrote later , if i didnt write worth full scenes i could mentioned it .

Sangarsh which praised by critics and got some awards, aankhein which was the 4 highest grosser and success above in 2002, aankhein also set a trend in new filmaking a bank robery thriller, vipul; shah was nominated for best director, ajnabee which also average business he got best villan award in filmfare and IFFA, Yeh Dillagi, which done quite well during 1994, had kajols 1st nomination as best actress and akki as best actor. Jaanwar also became a semihit, its well known that akki when he started experimenting, he was given the tag of complete actor and his popularity grew.
Vicky Bhool Bhuliya weas a very different kind of film, it was like tasveer but more commercial and akki made it superhit, also the producer of the film never had a hit until BB.
