The first indication that Veer may not go the Wanted way, was when the collections first dipped on Saturday and later dropped quite significantly on Monday. Republic day (Tuesday) business helped the film get close to the first week numbers of Wanted, but the huge crash on Friday (Week 2) and further drops on Saturday and Sunday has meant that the film is highly unlikely to attain HIT status.
The fact that the distributors share is high from single screens has ensured the “moderate success” tag for the film, but business overall has been well below expectations.

dear adii there is no srk /sallu/akki/aamir etc for me.. if the film is bad i will rip it to pieces ..as i did with paa and de dana dan….the music of mnis khan is not good sajda looks like a copy of shukranallah to me ..so the weak point is music itself to begin with ..thwerea are no hummable songs in the movie and if kajol is gonna ham and do those screams i will really rip it down

I do not agree with you. Every big star has fan following including salman so he is far from finished.
Besides, you are srk fan that’s why you perhaps hate salman otherwise you would have noticed some nice things said about salman in this article.
I am not a fan of any star, i like or dislike films not stars. I like srk in bazigar, darr, khkn, yes boss but do not like him in oso, rnbdj, billu. Similarily, i like salman in mpk, karan arjun, jeet and to some extent in wanted also but not in mamk, hahk (surprisingly), yuvraj.
Veer I have not seen as it does not look appealing to me but i accept the fact that it was not a flop. It got good opening and a final average tag.
I my opion, we may or may not like a star but we have to respect the verdict.
From the promos, mnik does not appeal to me, but i can sense that film will take very good opening.

Salman Khan as never before in “Dabaang”
Salman Khan’s other brother Arbaaz is turning producer. And he wants to make sure he will present his star-bro Salman like never before.
Hence while Sohail has been producing all the cool-dude Hello Brother type of slick flicks for Salman, Arbaaz is taking Salman comoletely out of his comfort zone in Arbaaz Khan Productions’ Dabang, which means fearless.
And fearless is what Arbaaz and Salman intend to be in Dabang.
The film to be directed by Anurag’s brother Abhinav Kashyap will feature Salman as a boorish uncouth corrupt cop in a Noth Indian town of Bihar or Uttar Pradesh.
For the first time in his career Salman will be discarding his dude-with-an-attitude persona to play a protagonist who is reprehensibly corrupt in nature uncouth in appearance.This would be Saif’s Omkara with the law on its side.

Salman will also have to master a Bihari-UP dialect for the first time.
According to sources the look will echo Abhishek Bachchan’s North Indian goonda act in Mani Ratnam’s Raavan.

About casting Shatrughan Sinha’s daughter Sonakshi Arbaaz says, “There’s no point in casting a heroine who’s already been seen four times with Salman. I wanted to cast a stunning new girl and Sonakshi fitted the bill. She has lost a lot of weight. She still needs to lose a little more.”

I agree, there were far more performances better than Salman’s Wanted. his performance in wanted may have been one of the best of his career, but if you watch the rest of these performances, you can’t help but agree with them for the most part. Although you can argue that Abhay Deol should have been there for Dev D, or Saif for Kurbaan instead of LAK.
