Housefull will do Rs 60 crores in Week 1 in India – Sajid Khan

In an interview with Suruchi Sharma, Sajid Khan talks about his upcoming film Housefull which stars Akshay Kumar and three other gorgeous leading ladies. The director who last delivered the super-hit Heyy Babyy is extremely confident that his film will do Rs 60 crores of business in India in Week 1 and eventually be the first Akshay Kumar movie to cross 100 crores at the box office. Sajid also says and we quote “Akshay will be at the top of his game after Housefull, and after this movie people will start worshipping Akshay.” Read some of the excerpts from the interview below 

Video: Papa – Housefull Trailer

A new song trailer of Housefull has been released by Eros. The song titled ‘Papa’ is a potential chartbuster. In the promo, Boman Irani is shown sleep-walking while the rest of the cast – Akshay Kumar, Deepika Padukone,  Ritesh Deshmukh and Lara Dutta – seem to be having a lot of fun around him. Boman dancing to the tunes in his sleep is quite hilarious. The lyrics are nice and funny too. Watch the trailer and tell us what you think.

Hrithik Roshan of the South!

Guess who is called the “Hrithik Roshan of the South”? Its none other than 3 Idiots star R Madhavan. Hard to understand why and the actor, in an interview with Times of India, agrees. “I really don’t know. But I think its an insult to Hrithik. He’s so good looking, a great actor and a fabulous dancer. I feel sorry for him whenever I am called that.” he smiles. Hema Malini’s robbery case solved, thieves nabbed

Mumbai Police on Monday, cracked the much-publicized Rs 80 Lakhs robbery case from the house of Bollywood actress Hema Malini and arrested five people. The suspects were caught from a residential complex, Nensey Colony in Borivli East, barely 10 km north of Hema Malini’s residence in Goregaon East. Police have recovered Rs 10 Lakhs worth of jewelery from the home of one of the accused and Rs 93,000 cash from the others, said Joint Police Commissioner Rakesh Maria. According to Maria, police had got a tip-off that a gang of robbers was likely to commit a robbery in the area and the sleuths lay in wait for them on Monday.
