Housefull Story – Movie Preview

Housefull starring Akshay Kumar, one of the most popular stars in the country, is a romantic comedy entertainer which narrates the story of Aarush (Akshay) the unluckiest man in the world.

Being jinxed, he believes his bad luck can vanish if he finds true love. In this quest for love, one lie leads to another and soon he is caught in a situation with not one or two but three girls in his life. The result? Total Mayhem and a lot of fun (for the viewer that is)!

Housefull directed by Sajid Khan, who tasted success with his very first film Heyy Babyy returns with this hilarious comedy of errors. The line which Deepika Padukone tells Akshay in the film “Jis jhooth se kissi ka ghar basta ho, voh jhooth jhooth nahin hota” pretty much sums up the essence of the film.

Apart from Akshay Kumar and Deepika Padukone, Housefull also stars Ritesh Deshmukh, former Miss Universe Lara Dutta and the super-sexy Jiah Khan.

If the response to the trailers are anything to go by, “Housefull” boards are certain to be seen hanging outside both single screens and multiplexes, when the film produced by Sajid Nadiadwala releases worldwide on 30th April 2010.

  • I feel All 3 must be havin similar names- Aarush( Akki, Rithesh , Arjun) which leads to confusion.. n d movie will be a Hit for sure… Superhit s doubtful..;)

  • Though it seems like a typical Akshay Kumar film with crazy situations and identity confusions, yet the fact that Sajid Khan is at the helm of the affairs, one can expect it to be better than films like Garam Masala, Kambakht Ishq or De Dhana Dhan etc.

By the promo the story seems to be an amulgamation of Garam Masala and De Dhana Dhan…but then movies like this never rely on an innovative story…it is always about the execution.

All arguements aside, it will deffinitely give a grand openning as the timing of the release is almost perfect. It’s going to be the first bigie after almost 2 months of medium budget films. And considering the entertaining nature of the film, an earth-shattering opening is very much on cards…the only thing to see is if it can go for a long spree of success (unlike Akshay’s previous grand-openers like KI and DDD)

  • dnt knw wt goin to happend with houseful…dis days movies r hyped too much bfore release…and wt d result is!…it simply bomb at d box office the same trend is going nd going for quite sometime now……except of amir khan movies…lets see wht happend…i dont hv enaf expectations…nd sajid khan is behind the camera….wt can i say..!! heyy baby ws such a crap…only grace will be three hot ladies nd Mr. akki …..

  • Am really looking forward to this film..am sure it won’t be disappointing as far as entertainment goes..they all look fab in the promos..the movies produced so far this year have been mediocre and nothing seems to jump out and make me want to want it again and again in the theatre..lets hope Houseful breaks that trend.

@indicine ..Meantime…off to watch Right Ya Wrong tomorrow..only for Irfan Khan if nothing else..are you putting any user reviews for this movie..or are people not interested..

  • i think house full will start huge response, but will fall very badly after week 01 like kambaqte isq, de dana dan because aksayas comedy like foolish and mad comedy.

another actor like amir, srk, rittik comedy every time touch your hearts this the difference between aksay and other.

  • hey prince in which world you live i have never seen hrithick in comedy role that dumb fellow cant even give proper dialouge delieveries just throw air out of his mouth his voice is very very what you can say i just dont have any words

  • Just seen the first screening of Right Ya Wrong with Sunny Deol and Irfan Khan.

Story: Two cops who are friends and turn into so called enemies trying to prove who is right and who is wrong. The movie is about two friends, a cheating wife and a murder takes place.

    Positives of the movie:
-Brillant performances by Irfan, Sunny and Konkana Sen. The first half belongs to Sunny but Irfan steps up in the second half. Konkana doesn’ show up until after interval. She doesn’t have a very big role but leaves an impact. Isha Koppikar as the cheating wife is good and has some good scenes.
    -great dialogue
-Pace of the movie is good and keeps you entertained.

    Negatives of the movie:
-Music is not very good but you don’t seem to miss it.
-The script is ok but it’s the way the story unfolds that you kind of forgive the script writer.
-if you have seen a lot of thrillers you know almost everything that takes place.

It is worth watching it in the theatre…RIGHT…Ya WRONG?…RIGHT as far as I am concerned.I would give it 3 or 3.5 out of 5.
