Hrithik Roshan’s Best Performances: Top 5

Several readers have been requesting for our list of Hrithik Roshan’s Best Performances. Here it is! 1. Agneepath – It’s been 5 months now since the film released and it’s been hard to get over Hrithik’s performance in Agneepath.  The revenge-filled blood-soaked eyes when Vijay Dinanath Chauhan returns to Mandwa (see the attached image) is easily my favorite scene in the film. What makes this performance more special, is the sheer enormity of reprising one of Amitabh Bachchan’s most iconic characters. One step wrong and Hrithik would have been at the receiving end of severe criticism. Performance rating – 5 / 5.

‘It’s my most endearing character’ – Priyanka Chopra on Barfi

Priyanka Chopra is playing an autistic girl in ‘Barfi’ and describes it as the most lovable character she has ever played. She hopes she has justified director Anurag Basu’s vision. “I thought Jhilmil will be difficult. Initially, it was difficult,” said Priyanka now that “my heart is with Jhilmil”. “It is a very special character and I hope you like it. It is my most endearing character,” she told reporters Monday at the release of its first trailer here. In the Anurag Basu directed film, Priyanka has teamed up with Ranbir Kapoor, who will be seen as Murphy, a fun loving deaf and mute guy. The actress says that the purpose of “Barfi” is to dispel the myth that disabled people live a dark and depressing life.
