Salman Khan is currently the top contender to win his first Filmfare Best Actor award, but the competition gets tougher when it comes to the most prestigious award in the country – The National Award for Best Acting.
In a career spanning 2 and a half decades, Salman hasn’t won too many acting awards, but his performance in ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ has been received well both by the critics and the audience.
When Salman was asked for his reaction to his fans demanding a National Award for him, the superstar said his National Award is the love from his audience.
“It’s really sweet of them. I really appreciate what they are saying and I have been hearing a lot about this but I think there are a lot of other people who deserve a National Award more than I do.”
“But for me, people have loved the film, appreciated it and even watched it three, four of five times. I think’s that’s the National Award for me, which the public has already given me.” Salman said.

Salman deserve either national or filmfare award for his portray of pavan kumar chaturvedi because he does effortless acting in the scene with demand innocence and put fire in the sequences that demand uneasiness for reference watch the scene before interval the border crossing scene bhar do jholi song and the best scene is climax scene
Remember the iconic scene in which salman saw that man selling munni the emotion in his eyes with ful of tears the background score of hanuman chalisa he beats bad peoples from his heart and rescue munni that scene shows salman is not a ordinary actor but he is a legend if work with good director apart from salman ajay devgan in drishyam and nawaz in manjhi are the good contenders for award

National award? Seriously?
Before going further, I would like to reveal that Iam a salmam fan. But more than that Iam a film lover. To those who claims that Salman should get national award I ask these questions-
Have you ever watched any low budget-good quality films in hindi?(your answer:No)
Have you ever watched any non hindi films that released last year?
If so, how many of those films are classic- art films?
Do you have any idea of the previous winners of national award?
Your probable answer to all these questions would be ‘no’.
Before you make thse silly claims, try to know more about national awards. If some film or some actor got successful in bollywood it doesn’t mean he deserve a national award. Trust me, there were many better films than Bajrangi Bhaijaan last year. The previous winners of national award includes Kamal Hassan, Amitabh Bachchan, Mammootty, Mohanlal, Vikram etc. and these actors are true actors not just entertainers like Salman and SRK. So trust me, Salman will not get national award. Go and watch more films before you make stupid statements. National award is not something which is given only to commercial ‘bollywood’ films (like the filmfare and other channel awards). It is something which is given to ‘the best’ in a national level.
My advise- Watch films like ‘Pathemari’, ‘Ottal’, ‘Ennu ninte Moideen’ and think again
