The expectations from Salman Khan’s Veer that releases next weekend, is neither too high nor too low, which is just about perfect for any film. Veer should also benefit from the curiosity around it, chartbusting music is missing but the songs (from the trailers) have been shot well and have a certain pleasing look to it.
Box office over the years, hasn’t been too kind to historicals, hence the opening weekend is very important for a film like Veer. Khan’s strong hold has always been single screens, but what remains to be seen is how Veer performs at the all important multiplexes, which should eventually decide the fate of this high budget epic.

- Opening Weekend if the film exceeds expectations: 22 crores nett
- Week 1: 28 crores nett
- Week 1 if liked: 30 – 32 crores nett

VEER is an outstanding film…. it is a much movie. Go for it to see Salman as a real VEER and mega Indian movie. Zarine is beautiful and Mithun is perfect as well. Salman is the only Indian Star to perform such roles. Salman you ROCKS!!

srijon veer needs 30 plus dis share to be declared a hit, BOI says more 30cr set is 50 cror share, not 30, veers budget is 50 cr, im not anti-sallu but when u lot diss akki of and deny his starpower which is accepted by trades even indicine that akki is deffo in the top 5 league due to consistancy of his films opening, now if people create anti publicty and campaign against his film, its bound to effect its future collection. but i know he will back to giving hits as the budget will be controlled this year, akki will follow amir and srks business strategy and cut down his humongous fees which has affected the verdict for his films. Nauman, yeh man, im here to support u. anyways veer has less than 12 days to make its money, MNIK isn’t far away so hope for the best.

Veer is already Instant Hit. Veer has got a big thumbs down from the critics and media but at the box office it has performed excellent all over india. The film will emerge a Super hit in Rajasthan while circuits like Delhi/UP, Bihar, CP Berar and CI and Nizam also doing hit business. Single screen business is huge in the Hindi belt..
the film has bombed big time and losses are huge ,,please stop promoting the movie

Don’t stoop so low that your own self-esteem will be shameful of you. We all know it never so caleed bombed..it will emerge a sureshot HIT …Ok it may not be blockbuster…but thats fine. We always knew its a mass entertainer and not classy like TZP or 3I.

Y this slugfest Megha & Adii (if both are not the same person !!!) & few others…… Let’s make Veer a HIT as we own it to our own set of faith in a particular star/style of acting. Veer must be around 34-35 Cr bracket, I reckon due to Tuesday huge collection. Thats itself is enuf to make it a hit with even average collection henceforth….Do the Maths..check the BOI reports…N ya please TAKE A WALK…

so its me who is ahving the last laff.. average business means when you stretch it that far but accurately speaking it is below average which means ..flop
