Too long and boring. Outdated for the modern India. Too late to cry again and again against the britishers. Does not make sense about a tribe fighting against a hugh army. Sorry for the Salman fans, but I think Yuvraaj was much better and cleaner than this movie.

Salman’s VEER grosses 41 crores in its opening weekend

Eros International announced that Salman Khan starrer – VEER in its opening weekend, has had gross collections of Rs. 41 crores worldwide at the box office. VEER did a first weekend business of Rs. 32 crores (Rs. 19.50 crores net) in India with Rs. 9 crores coming in from overseas. Salman’s last hit WANTED netted Rs. 17.25 crores for the same period.
An Anil Sharma film, VEER, starring Salman Khan, Mithun Chakraborty, Jackie Shroff and debutant Zarine Khan released across cinemas worldwide on 22nd January 2010. The film released with 1,300 prints & digital cinemas all over India and 236 prints overseas.

A spectacular treat for Salman fans, VEER has emerged a high grosser in circuits like Rajasthan, Delhi/UP, Bihar, Gujarat etc. with the single screens doing good business over the weekend, which again demonstrates Salman Khan’s power to connect with the masses.

I believe if he did it in a different way it would be better

One must watch Veer before making any positive or negative comments on it. Personally speaking I am not a fan of Salman Khan but this film is far better than all his movies made in the entire career. Now, please do not mistake me that his past movies were not good, some of them have been Mega hits and I do adore them, but Veer stands far above all, until now. What a creation!!!!!
I would extend by best regards to all the unit members and professionals involved in bringing this masterpeice to common audience like us. We would have never known of Pindaris had we not watched Veer.
I have seen Veer first day first show and continously i have seen it for 3 times in 3 days it is a well made movie, When compare to Jodha Akber Veer is far better i have seen jodha akbar only one time.
Veer is different concept with a nice story and acting as well dailoges.
