Jab Tak Hai Jaan has dropped by 13% on it’s 8th day at the box office. The film is now unlikely to cross the 100 crore mark in it’s first extended week.
While business in Maharashtra was back to normal on Tuesday, it didn’t help the film put up a bigger cumulative total.

- Tuesday – 15.23 crore
- Wednesday – 19.54 crore (28% growth)
- Thursday – 14.45 crore (26% drop)
- Friday – 11.17 crore (22% drop)
- Saturday – 10.38 crore (7% drop)
- Sunday – 9.96 crore (4% drop)
- Monday – 5.36 crore (46% drop)
- Tuesday – 4.66 crore (13% drop)
- Total – 90.75 crore
The problem for Jab Tak Hai Jaan has been the drop in business almost everyday. The film should be able to add around 8 crores in the next 2 days, taking it’s first week (10 day) total to 99 crore nett.
Second weekend will decide if Jab Tak Hai Jaan can go on to be Shahrukh Khan’s biggest grosser in India.

for all those who are talking about no. of screens dabangg released on 1800 screens and collected 141 crores that too in 2010 and bodyguard was released with 2250 screens and collected 148 crores in 2011.. JTHJ released with 2500 screens and still wont be able to break dabangg n bodyguard’s record that too in 2012 when the tickets prices are high.. JTHJ is a YRF production, directed by yash chopra, written by aditya chopra, music by a.r. rehman, lyrics by gulzar, starring no. 1 actress katrina kaif along with anushka sharma, huge hype, a diwali release, sympathy after yash ji’s death n still srk cannot break any records.. such a shame.. it will not even break ready’s record which was not a festive release and was released with 1900 screens and collected 122 crores in 2011.. so srk fans stop making excuses.. JTHJ has failed to perform at the box office n has been rejected by the audiences as well.. n srk fans what happened to the claims that it will break all box office records and will crush SOS???

If you look at SRKs 100+ crores grossers. Be it Ra.One, Don-2, JTHJ. all are not just different but they are of completely different genre: superhero scifi, thriller, romantic tear jerker.

2nd friday: JTHJ collects 5 Crores. Not bad. It went up but not by much.
2nd Saturday & 2nd Sunday are extremely crucial. JTHJ must collect 20 crores combined.
JTHJ already lost 10 crores in its first week because of Mumbai bandh thakreys death. It needs to make up lost ground. 25 crores is possibility. 30 crores looks out of its reach.
