After all the hype and excitement, the theatrical trailer of Happy New Year is finally out online! The trailer was launched at Sahara Star in Mumbai with the entire cast in attendance. The launch event was by far the grandest event that we have witnessed for a trailer.

Trailer is not that bad but it’s fully Indian content those who expecting foreign content they won’t like even if they are SRK lover’s but this movie has something special. SRK won’t allow any director to mess with his film unless srk likes the movie and script he won’t do.

Showed the trailer to my neighbours here..even they said that it looks more like TMK-2..One neighbour whoz a SRK fan too said it was below his expectations..
SRK is the saving grace of this movie along with Boman and Sonu..i have liked MHN and OSO, but i guess this movie will be a disappointment when compared with Farah’s other two movies..
Is it the highest commented and viewed topic in Indicine till now ? If so, that shows the stardom of srk.

@zack: hey don’t call me a hater. I didn’t call it bad. It’s okayish in my view. Loved the work of make up artist,sonu sood’s physique,music and the set arrangement. But again it’s not upto the expectation. It’s remind me of a combo of last 3 farah’s movie.

Itna Bada Bakwaas Trailer Kabhi Nahin Dekha..Sonu Sood Copy Dabangg’s tearing off take and flying away. Only a few seconds at the end gof trailer looks nice.

I don’t expect Farah khan to make a classical movie. But at least I expected entertainment from SRK-Farah combo and I have to say I am DISAPPOINTED..Irrespective of how much it collects (Box office) quality wise it will be not surpass OSO and Tees maar khan..Hoping the movie wud be better than trailer..

The film’s trailer will raise the inevitable comparisons with Salman Khan’s Kick and Aamir Khan’s Dhoom 3 and even the unreleased P.K whose box office numbers might pose a threat to this Diwali release.
Reacting to it, King Khan said, “His film is his, mine is mine. There is no comparison. It is in minds of people who want to compare. Compete with your last work and better it, further it. We have our own limitations and work within it. I hope PK and Kick does brilliant business at the box office and so do we. I wish everyone all my luck.”
And finally King Khan is going all the way to promote his film. The first in order is world tour. Ask him how sorted are his marketing plans, he says, “I have a team of people who are wonderful with their work. I haven’t done a world show in 10 years. Though I did a bit of Temptations last year but that wasn’t full blown. The film organically leads to a world tour. It is not a marketing thought. It was generic and fell into place. Vishal and Shekhar are busy and so they won’t be joining us. I want the team of stay together as long as we can.”
The magnum opus is all set to hit the screens this Diwali. Starring SRK along with Deepika, Abhishek Bachchan, Sonu Sood, Boman Irani and Vivaan Shah in lead roles, Happy New Year is slated to release on 23rd October.

The ‘Happy New Year’ has not just left us amazed, but looks like even superstar Salman Khan is in awe of the Shah Rukh Khan-starrer’s trailer.
Salman took to twitter and mentioned that he saw the trailer of the movie and thinks it’s ‘Kick ass’.
“Jst saw happy new year ka promo, its Kick ass,” he tweeted.

Filmmaker Farah Khan says while making ‘Happy New Year’ (HNY), a heist drama, the challenge was not to take anything that she had seen in films made on the same subject.
“The biggest challenge was to keep the film original. Heist is a formula film, so the challenge was not to take anything from any heist movie…” said Farah at the launch of the film’s first trailer on Thursday.
A typical Bollywood entertainer catering to the masses, the ensemble drama’s cast is starry in every sense.
Shah Rukh, who was seen performing director Rohit Shetty style action in Chennai Express, said that Happy New Year brings more action on the screen compared to his last two movies – Main Hoon Na and Om Shanti Om- with Farah.
“If there is a lady who knows aggression and action, it is Farah,” said Shah Rukh humorously.
“It has lot more action than the first two films,” he added.
Produced by SRK’s Red Chillies Entertainment, the film is set to release during Diwali.
