After all the hype and excitement, the theatrical trailer of Happy New Year is finally out online! The trailer was launched at Sahara Star in Mumbai with the entire cast in attendance. The launch event was by far the grandest event that we have witnessed for a trailer.

Be it a gathering at Mannat or a trailer launch event, SRK is known for good hospitality and warmth
Many media members will vouch for the fact that though Shah Rukh Khan keeps them waiting at the events, but he makes sure that the wait is totally worth it thanks to his great hospitality and warmth. And he did exactly the same at the trailer launch event of his upcoming film, Happy New Year which was held on the eve of Independence Day (August 14). The much-awaited event which was held at a plush seven star property located in the suburbs didn’t start as per the schedule, but with those arrangements, SRK indeed made the word ‘grand’ as an understatement.
Let’s take you through the glittery event and tell you my experience about the same…
Food from every corner of India – The HNY trailer launch event was certainly a foodie’s paradise. The media members and some lucky fans who got to attend the do were served food from every part of out nation. So be it Mumbai’s pav bhaji or some yummy chaat from North or those famous Kolkata rolls, you name it and you had it. So this time instead of sitting on a chair and waiting for the much-delayed event to finally start, I was hogging on all these delicacies from North, East, West and South of India. And when I was done with the food business, I got busy playing around this cool photo booth that was installed there.
Glamour, dance and music – Yes, King Khan had made sure that the media members were thoroughly entertained before watching the trailer with a Indiawaale fashion show by Bollywood’s favouite designer Manish Malhotra. Wearing those lovely traditional outfits, the star cast of HNY which includes SRK, Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Sonu Sood, Boman Irani and Vivaan Shah along with director Farah Khan set the ramp on fire. That’s not all, we even got to to hear the musical duo of Vishal and Shekhar, who have composed the music for the Farah Khan directorial sing for us live. If you have already seen the trailer, you must have realised that IndiaWaale sentiment is an integral part of Happy New Year. And that sentiment was put out perfectly with a patriotic dance act by the famous Fictitious Group.
The trailer – The moment we all were waiting for finally arrived when the trailer of Happy New Year was played on the screen. And it was completely worth the wait. People present there were so pleased that they wanted to see it once again. And it was kind of emotional to see each and everyone associated with the film hugging each other after the trailer received a huge cheer from the media and fans.
All said and done, it was certainly the event of the year. I personally haven’t seen a trailer unveiling event as grand as this. It will surely be one of the most pleasing and memorable experiences in my life. Always.

@pravin : Dont be a fool. There are certain actors who looks good and do great in some roles. Like no one can do CDI as Srk or Lagaan like Aamir or Dabangg or Tere Naam like Salman. Salman is best for suited for Masala genre but when he does some serious roles (Veergati, Garv) people does not like him as much as in Dabangg or Wanted. Same way Srk is best suited for roles like DDLJ, CDI & Swades. one odd movie like CE was good as change for Srk but actor with such acting capabilities should not waste it in movies like HNY. Same for Aamir when he did D3, personally I feel Aamir shouldnt have done with such a lame script. This is nothing to do with Box office but the actor’s skills !!!!!!!!!!!!

Dont worry man…Greater the man,greater the negativity around him….I think you didnt visit this site at trailor lauch of CE,and at time of CE released in theaters…The haters were barking the same way they are doing now….I always said @BABAJI seems neutral to others(except HR,Akki,SRk) but its seems that he is on the duty to defend Akki craps( criticizing release time,promotion or anything else but not the content) and as far as HR is concerned we cannot expect a neutral review from a fan of star so he always overrate HR…If he says average about srk trailors,song promos,movie means that these things are suberb…when he says poor means average to above average……….
Last day my internet connection was not working but could not download the trailor ,and was very disappointed by reading comments on incidine but what happens when i watched the trailor,i enjoyed too much

I do not watch movies Shah Rukh Khan after Om Shanti Om. I have not watched Chennai Express, I only had to watch the trailer and clips.
But this film is sure to look, because it contains something that I love – banter on Indian movies !!!

In short, as I understand, there are two commands. One – professional thieves, the other – the losers. The second team must cover the first group – to provide an alibi for thieves. If anything, the thieves said: “We were on the dance competition, we saw the stadium.”
Will be interesting to see, I was honestly interested in this trailer is more than all the rest. !!!!
