Happy New Year is steady on the lower side at the box office in its third weekend. The film has collected around 1.5 crore on its 3rd Friday even though it lost several shows and screens to this week’s release ‘The Shaukeens’.
Depending on the growth in business over the next two days, the Shahrukh Khan starrer might cross the 200 crore mark. It should go on to beat the lifetime business of films like Ek Tha Tiger (199.6 cr) and 3 Idiots (202.3 cr). The film will finish as the 4th highest grosser of all time behind Dhoom 3, Krrish 3, Kick and Chennai Express.
The Hindi version of the film has collected Rs 188.84 crore, while the regional (Tamil and Telugu) versions have contributed around 6.1 crore to the total.

salman-has stardom.he has the biggest fan base in u.p,bihar n central india.however his genre of film doesn’t appeal to the multiplex audience more!!
srk-super stardom!!have to accept guys that srk is a brand.multiplex audience is the biggest srk fan base.he has his most fans in delhi,maharashtra n cities.even in south he is famous.according us economic times his brand value is 164 $ thrice as compared to sallu.
If srk amir or salman do maupulation like hr so the result are dhoom 3=320 crrs kick 270 crs ce 260 hny 250 crrs shame on roshan 10 percent diff is acceptable b coz of huge screen count but that is not in the case of k3 40 percent bang bang 30 percent difff shameeee
I think it will definitely collect more than 210 crores which is great. Back to back 2 200 crores movies amazing.

Audiences feel the ‘Shaukeens’ look abit desperate n lacks authenticity- Abhisheks decision of not casting our babaji has come back to haunt him bcoz Piyush clearly lacks the skills on how to play a desperate 60 yr old virgin peeping tom which for our babaji comes naturally…
U bhai fans are the biggest hypocrites. U say HNY is a nonsensical film, then tell me where is the sense in craps like kick, dab 2, BG, Ready, Jai HO, ETT? THose movies have no story, no logic, no sense whatsoever. U say SRK is overacting, well in Kick Salman overacts to the Hilt but u have no problem when he is overacting. lallu overacts 100 times more in Kick than Abhishek in HNY. The first half of Kick was so loud, boring, nonsensical, unfunny and dumb, I got a headache. In the second half, all of the action scenes were already in trailer. HNY is far better movie than Kick and SRK performance is far better than lallu.
Another thing, no one told bhai to take Jacqline, he chose her himself when he cud have chosen any other star girl so keep quiet.
U say HNY is crap and torture, well when I was watching first half of Kick I felt like being tortured and running for my life. Same with ready, BG, Jai HO, Dab 2.
I cud understand if ur star did good movies like HR and aamir then u can critize HNY, but all of ur bhai’s films in last 4 years have been craps/tortures and horrible films (barring Dabanng 1). So who are u all to point finger at HNY when all of lallu films were worst!
Finally according to BOI, Kick = 213 core, producer = 233 cr, so difference is 20 core. According to BOI(by 3rd friday) HNY = 169 cr(hindi) + 6 cr(regional) = 175 core, producer = 195 cr(all versions) so difference is the SAME 20 crore. So stop barking about manipulation u hypocrites!!!!
P.S. HNY is 2nd 200 core movie of SRK, back to back. How the hell can a movie which crosses 200 crore be a flop with its budget at 150 cr? It has already recovered costs and have yielded a 50 corre profit similarly to Housefull 2 which had collections of 112 cr and 60 crore budget and H2 was declared superhit, now both INDICINE and ur favourite BOI(trade) has today declared HNY a superhit. @Salma Rockz.. Salman won’t do a multi-starrer. His acting skills are so weak that he would be out-shined by everyone else. Thats why he picks new and under performers in each of his movies. He has done multi-starrers in the past and has either failed or his performance never stood out.
kick is much better than dhoom3, but collection of kick is much lesser than dhoom3.

As far actors are concerned, we have to respect and appreciate their efforts and talented. Without something on themselves Salman, Aamir, Shahrukh, Akshay and Ajay could not have established themselves. Even Sunny Deol and Sanjay Dutt can not be forgotten. Then there is Hritik Roshan. They have their own set of abilities and weaknesses. Film Industry depends a lot on them. That means livelihood of many person related to film making like technicians, designers, make up man/women, cinematographers, editors, writers etc depend on them.
Now a days, Salman is delivering back to back blockbusters. In fact he has delivered more no of blockbuster / ATBBs than Shahrukh. But I can remember few films namely Maine Pyar Kiya, Andaz Apna Apna, HDDCS, Tere Naam, Wanted and Dabangg for his role. Whereas Shahrukh as started in the Industry from zero level. He has no family support like Salman or Aamir. He started from television. People still remember his roles in Deewana, Kabhi Haan kabhi naa, Bazigar, Daar, Anjam, DDLJ, DTPH, KKKG, Mohabbatein, KHNH, KKHH, Veer-zaara, Swades, Chak de, RNBDJ, MNIK etc. Even his roles in Don & Don2, Chennai Express, Dil se, Asoka, Main hun Na can not be forgotten. We call him self proclaimed , but the fact is that without any talent he could not have sustained in Industry.
On the other hand Aamir is also known for his acting abilities and box office success. His roles in QSQT, Dil, DHKMN, JJWS, AAA, HHRPK, Rangeela, Raja Hindustani, Ghulam, Sarfarosh, Lagaan, Mangal Pandey, RDB, Fanaa, Ghajini and 3 Idoits will be remembered for long time.
