Update: The official figures for Monday is Rs 15.01 crore.
Happy New Year has collected around 15 crore on its 4th day at the domestic box office, as per early estimates. The film has witnessed falls across central and north India. Mumbai, Rajasthan, West Bengal circuit have held up reasonably well. The Tamil and Telugu versions have dropped by nearly 70% from Sunday. The average all India drop for the centres that we tracked is around 50-55% from Sunday.
The multiplexes are doing well, but the single-screen business has taken bigger than expected falls both on Saturday, Sunday and now on Monday.
In comparison, Bang Bang collected Rs 15.21 on its first Monday, Chennai Express collected Rs 12.62 crore and Kick managed to collect Rs 14.41 crore. Dhoom 3 leads by a distance with net first weekday collections of Rs 21.71 crore.
Looking at the trends, the 283 crore record of Dhoom 3 (highest grosser of all time) is out of reach now. It still has a chance to be the highest grosser of the year (Kick 233 cr), but for that the film has to sustain well over the remaining 3 weekdays and then escalate this coming weekend.
In the recent past, quite a few films have shown bigger drops on Tuesday and Wednesday, so the coming two days will be important if Happy New Year has to eventually cross the 200 crore mark.

BANG BANG collected 15.21 cr on just 3350 screens that too with a clash lol !!! and these khantards say srk and salman rule hahaha! kick did just 14 cr with 4500 screens and hny will do around the same with even more 5000 screens.
And Monday was a holiday in Gujarat and will continue until Wednesday it has been learnt! Yet, the film is facing epic crash!
Its an early estimate guys so please chill and definitely it will corss 200 crores but 250 seems difficult now rest wait and watch, yeah its sliding down fast but film is liked by family audiences and morevoer there are no big releases till 7th.

HNY is a bad film which will not cross more than 200 Crores for sure. KICK was a good film with positive word of mouth whereas HNY had negative word of mouth and critics reviews were 2 out of 5. HNY collections are falling day by day and the film is trending towards downwards. The film had 13 corores on Monday that is due to holidays going in Gujarat. I think HNY will goes in the same range as Bang Bang. Chasing KICK and D3 is out of reach.

As I always tell, there are 3 finest actors in bollywood with superstardom. Shahrukh, Aamir and Hritik. Shahrukh’s fan following should be greatest, followed by Hritik and Aamir (among these 3). But Aamir’s films always are better and creates history because Aamir is a master when choosing the scripts. People watch his movies even though they are not hard core fan of Aamir because he has made people believe that his films are sensible n better. Same is with me,I think Shahrukh and Hritik are more complete stars but I watch Aamir’s movies. Shahrukh n Hritik have let themselves down due to themselves. They have to blame themselves for this.
