Bang Bang has crashed on its 9th day (2nd Friday) at the domestic box office. The film has dropped by 45-50% from its previous day at mass centres, multiplexes too have witnessed significant drops in occupancy.
There were 4 new releases this weekend and none of them had any sort of impact on Bang Bang or Haider. The Shahid Kapoor starrer too has suffered the same fate, as the collections of Haider has dropped below the 2 crore mark for the first time.
The Tamil and Telugu versions of Bang Bang are running on very limited screens this weekend, the collections are around 8 lakhs on 2nd Friday.
Saturday and Sunday will be crucial if Bang Bang has to get to the 175 cr mark, which looks difficult now after the kind of business it managed to put up yesterday.

In this bang bang trend I hav observed fans of srk, salman, amir n ranbir hav come together to bash bb n hav shown hr his true aukat which is nice to see…??

If HNY also gets mixed WOM( which I am sure it will ) than it will turn out to be bigger flop than BB. Srk stands nowhere with Aamir and Salman at box office. And as always PK will end 2014 as highest grosser of the year because aamir is bigger star than both Salman and srk.

OK! Ask your icon to clash with either SRK or Salman on their festive dates. Even HR movie, Mohenjo Daro, will start shivering on top of HR himself!

There are two aspect in Bang Bang first week collection.
1.First day the film wasn’t able to open huge as expected but it sustain well not very good but good in rest of 4 days in extended weekend. After that film wom which is mixed not able to take it further.
2.Second weekend can’t be too huge with the kind of wom it gets and its good with Bang-2 as it had 5 days extended weekend otherwise if it has 3 day weekend released havind two holiday without clash I don’t think it would have been colleted this much as only opening day would be close to d3 not more because the film is below pat in single screen thought out 9 days. So clash effect with Haider is counter effected with extended weekend as screen size matter only if the shows are running packed house which happened with CE last year in first 3 days and also with D3.
So overall a decent lifetime total close to 140-150 cr all India Considering as usual trade figure.
@nipun seriously Bang-2 is non festive release has 5 days holiday with 3500 screens even clash, 2 year earlier ETT crossed 100 cr in 5 days in 3300 screen even that film also rejected by most trusted critic and also wom is extremely mixed which was pre Eid release having two holiday in first 5 days but 3 working days in those 5 days wasn’t expected good on pre eid time. Bang bang everything in its favour except clash but its content is not able to take it further which was expected huge after teaser out.
I said earlier that non releasing full theatrical trailer will back fire as only a 2-3 min trailer can give a hint to other aspect if film other than action and they released just 1 week earlier.Poor strategy.
