Bang Bang has crashed on its 9th day (2nd Friday) at the domestic box office. The film has dropped by 45-50% from its previous day at mass centres, multiplexes too have witnessed significant drops in occupancy.
There were 4 new releases this weekend and none of them had any sort of impact on Bang Bang or Haider. The Shahid Kapoor starrer too has suffered the same fate, as the collections of Haider has dropped below the 2 crore mark for the first time.
The Tamil and Telugu versions of Bang Bang are running on very limited screens this weekend, the collections are around 8 lakhs on 2nd Friday.
Saturday and Sunday will be crucial if Bang Bang has to get to the 175 cr mark, which looks difficult now after the kind of business it managed to put up yesterday.

When it collected 7 cores on Thursday, so it was supposed to go below that on friday….i expected a 5 cr collections but it ended by 4crs which is not bad but average. The film can still collect 25 crs in its first week which will take its total to 160 crs and third & rest of lifetime should take it to 170 crs…which is a clean Hit…..

If there was no 5 day holiday… it would not have crossed 100 crores….
First half killed this movie… 0 chemistry between two of the most good looking people was unexpected… Except for two action scenes this movie had nothing good ….
HR did his part with great effort… Whatever business it has done is totally due to HR-Kat combination…
The director is the biggest culprit here …. I am not sure how can a director with so many flop movies can get to make such a high budget movie… It seems talent is not one of the criteria that is required to direct such a big movie…. SAD!!!!

I am a huge Hrithik fan and I have seen Bang Bang. I must say it is not as we expected it to be. They should have a good story if they want to make a big budget movie. Mindless action and thrilling car chases wont bring the audience to the theaters. Only think about BB that is good is Hrithik, the man gave 100%, and hats off to Vishal Shekhar and the team who edited the teaser and the trailer. After watching the teaser and the trailer if u watch the whole film u will be CHUTSPA as Haider calls it.

The bigger the star, the greater the criticism. SRK, at the time of Ra.One, was criticised far worst, but he didn’t let that put him down. He came back with a bang last year. Now all SRK needs is for HNY to have good content only, a tick to that and all’s in his favor.

Drop is a huge 85% from last Friday which was the second day of the film.
It is huge despite no competition from the new releases.
Bang Bang will struggle to put up a strong second week total and the film is unlikely to hit the 150 crore nett.
The cracks were there in the collections earlier but holidays in various parts of the country made the all India daily collections reasonable.
Second weekend of the film is liely to be around the 13 crore nett mark.
Second Friday collections are less than Kick, Holiday – A Solidier IS Never Off Duty, 2 States, Singham Returns and Jai Ho.
Second Friday is nearly 50% less than what Hrithik Roshan’s last film Krrish 3 grossed on its second Friday.
