Before we get down to discussing whether Paying Guest, a comic caper directed by Paritosh Painter, is worth a watch this weekend in theatre or not, let’s take a look at the story. Paying Guest revolves around four young, carefree and perky guys (Shreyas Talpade, Javed Jaffrey, Ashish Chowdhary and Vatsal Sheth). The four go through a series of ultra comical hurdles in attempts to find a shelter that can tolerate their combined problems. The owner Ballu (Johnny Lever) puts across a crazy condition, he would rent the place only to couples. With no other option left, these guys give in to the condition laid by the owner.
