Bajrangi Bhaijaan Second Monday (Day 11) Box Office Collections

Bajrangi Bhaijaan has sustained very well yet again on its second Monday at the domestic box office. The film is looking at a total of around the 10 – 10.25 crore range, which is an excellent hold for 2nd Monday. At multiplexes, the film was running at near 2nd Friday level occupancy levels on 2nd Monday, but the reduced ticket prices has meant that the collections will be on the lower side. The average drop is in the 20-25% range at multiplexes, there are reports that single-screens have shown bigger falls.

Bajrangi Bhaijaan has shown excellent escalation in business on Sunday, with the average growth from Saturday to Sunday at around 10-20% mark. The film is looking at Sunday collections in the range of 23-24 crore, as per early estimates, which is the highest collections of all time on 2nd Sunday.

Bajrangi Bhaijaan continued its historic run at the box office on Sunday. A couple of exhibitors have informed us that the occupancy of Bajrangi Bhaijaan on its 10th day is better than its opening day. The highest collections on 2nd Sunday belongs to Aamir Khan’s PK, which collected Rs 22.36 crore on its 10th day at the box office. Bajrangi Bhaijaan is set to beat that total today.

The 9th day collections of ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ is more than the opening day business of all films released in 2015, which includes films like ABCD 2, Gabbar Is Back, Dil Dhadakne Do and Roy.

Update: With figures from night shows coming in, Bajrangi Bhaijaan has shown record breaking growth on 2nd Saturday. The film is now looking at a total of 18 crore plus. This is humongous because Bajrangi Bhaijaan is set to record higher collections than both Dhoom 3 and PK on their respective second Saturday’s. At a Mangalore multiplex, the film collected Rs 1,48,030 on Friday, compared to Rs 2,73,140 i.e nearly 84% growth. A exhibitor from Valsad, Gujarat, says the film has grown by nearly 3 times on Saturday. Bajrangi Bhaijaan has shown excellent growth in business on Saturday. While the morning shows were at around the same level as yesterday (2nd Friday), the film has showed excellent growth evening onwards. The film is looking at a total of around Rs 18-19 crore, depending on how well the night shows perform at multiplexes on Saturday.
