Welcome Back is showing excellent trends in its first weekend at the box office. The film opened well on Friday, picked up on Saturday and shows on Sunday are running to packed houses at most places. Welcome Back has recorded the 3rd highest opening day of 2015, beating films like ABCD 2 and Gabbar Is Back. The film starring John Abraham in the lead, opened well because the first film in the series was hugely popular and had tremendous recall value even though the last film released in 2007.
