The release date of Nishikant Kamat’s ‘Rocky Handsome’ starring John Abraham and Shruti Hassan has been announced. The film will now release in theatres on February 5 2016.
Produced by John Abraham and Sunir Kheterpal, the film is likely to be packed with stupendous action sequences.
Set in Goa, Mumbai and Pune, ‘Rocky Handsome’ is an action film with a strong emotional story of the relationship between a father who never had a daughter and a seven-year-old girl without a father.
Initially scheduled to hit screens with ‘Singh Is Bling’ on October 2nd this year, ‘Rocky Handsome’ will release a week after Akshay Kumar’s Airlift in 2016.

everyone is comparing john and akki now without thinking akki is so long is this industry & has done every kind of role with justice.he just got split with the producers so he didnt do films and john got lucky in hera feri 3 and welcome.and welcome is doing good coz of anil and nana.if rocky handsome does gets release after airlift then we can b able to know whether john can challenge akki or not? john needs to prove his worth with solo movies. we cant compare both currently. john has physice and akki is a talented actor..
Why is john going after Akki that’s a million dollar question? First Welcome Back then Hera Pheri 3 to announcing RH on Oct 2 and again postponing it to Feb 5 aiming at crashing the business of Airlift ….. Why John Why? After Drishyam i am very much excited for Rocky Handsome . It is directed by Nishikant Kamat . This movie is the official remake of a Korean movie – The Man From Nowhere . John said in an interview that it will be the Best movie of his career . John is absolutely superb in such kind of characters . Expecting a Solid Action movie from John and Kamat . Also one more thing is My Birthday comes on 6th February so this is one i am excited for . The title of the movie is simply kickass .

john is very lucky man, he got two ready made superhits like Welcome back and herapheri 3, but sadly his presence has done just harm no good, rocky handsome is a action movie so it can do well, you never know box office, but Airlift is gonna crush it, as it is a serious action thriller, expect it to be in the same league as Holiday,baby, Don’t mess with the Khiladi
