Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar, who awaits the release of his next film ‘Airlift’, has said that the film will make you feel proud to be an Indian. “Airlift, a true story that will make you #ProudToBeIndian! #Jan22” Akshay tweeted on his official Twitter page. The film is based on the story of the World’s biggest mass evacuation of Indians during the Iraq-Kuwait war in 1990.

Salman talks about working with Aamir and SRK

Recently, Shah Rukh Khan had said that the 3 Khans could possibly feature in the remake of Ghostbuster (1984 – Hollywood film). In response, Salman joked that the film could star Aamir Khan, SRK and Saif Ali Khan or maybe even Kader Khan, but it would be difficult to bring all three Khans together in a film – during the peak of their career.

Dilwale 2nd Weekend Box Office Collections

Dilwale has collected Rs 21.23 crore in its second weekend at the box office, taking its 10-day total to Rs 123.88 crore. The film performed well in its first weekend, but hasn’t been able to sustain the level of business that it was expected to from Monday onwards. The difference between Bajirao Mastani and Dilwale now stands at Rs 3.42 crore, with the Shah Rukh Khan starrer still leading by a small margin.

Year End Analysis: Highest First Week Box Office Collections of 2015

The last two films of 2015 have released and the two films, Dilwale and Bajirao Mastani, have taken the 3rd and 4th spot respectively in the highest first week box office collections of 2015. Salman Khan leads with Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Prem Ratan Dhan Payo topping the list. The combined first week collections of the two films is a staggering Rs 350.1 crore net.

Dilwale 2nd Friday Box Office Collections

Dilwale was way below par at the box office on Friday, as the film collected Rs 8.1 crore on its 8th day which was a big holiday for Christmas. The film has collected Rs 110.76 crore so far and by the end of the 2nd weekend, the Shah Rukh Khan starrer should be around the 123 crore range.
