Director Neeraj Pandey’s upcoming film ‘M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story’, starring Sushant Singh Rajput as India’s multiple World Cup winning captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni, will release in theatres on September 2 2016.
Sushant took to Twitter to announce the release date of the film.
“#DhoniTheUntoldStory will release on 2nd September 2016. Can’t wait. Neeraj Pandey @foxstarhindi”
Produced by Fox Star Studios and Inspired Entertainment, ‘M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story’ has been shot extensively in Ranchi. It also stars Anupam Kher, who will be seen playing Dhoni’s father Pan Singh.
Actress Kiara Advani will be playing Dhoni’s wife Sakshi.

Means Mohenjo_daro will have 3 open weeks to make it big. It releases on 12-Aug and till 2-Sept no other release. That should be the case and hopefully Rustom is postpones as well. Hrithik returning after 2 years deserves at least 3 open weeks to leave a mark on box-office with some big collections. With festivals like independence day, rakhi, janamashtmi falling between those 3 weeks it is one the best period of 2016.
Sushant has no stardom… Akki the khiladi shud have been perfect for MSD instead of Flop sushant..

Awesome movie to look ahead for…imagine, earlier Indian teams were filled with Metro cities players(mostly Mumbaikars).. Suddenly a player from small town that too 4m a lower middle class emerges… The best ever wicketkeeper batsman cum finisher cum hitter becomes captain.. Win all ICC cups for India… Who(an Indian cricket lover) can forget the supremely self confident man hitting winning six to win the biggest ever tournament for India… Hats off to Mani.. It will certainly be a muvi to watch out for.. Also being directed by one of the best ever…

Neeraj pandey’s goal should be to make a commercial biopic instead of His usual little Offbeat films.
