A few years ago, sequels were risky but films like Hera Pheri 2 and Dhoom 2 changed it all. Now every successful film has a sequel, there is Dabangg 2, Wanted 2, Ready 2, Krrish 2, Dhoom 3, Once Upon A Time In Mumbai 2.. the list is endless. Double Dhamaal is the sequel to 2007’s Dhamaal and with director Indra Kumar at the helm, the film should be yet another laugh riot. Coming to the box office, a lot has changed since 2007. A 15 crore weekend was considered huge back then, now anything less even for medium budget films like Double Dhamaal is likely to be termed as ‘disappointing’.
