Tanu Weds Manu Returns director Aanand L. Rai has said he has been working hard on his next directorial venture starring Shah Rukh Khan in the lead, but the script is taking more time than expected.
“Please wait. I am working, I am a very hardworking person and even now I work a lot.” he said at the trailer launch of his production ‘Happy Bhaag Jayegi’
When asked about the rumours that have been circulating about the film, including the signing of Katrina Kaif as the female lead, Rai said the film is very important for him.
“I am still working on the story. But yes, definitely I can say that it is a love story on which I am working. It is a very important film for me as a director, it will take a little more time than what I was expecting and I’m working on that.”
The film, where Shah Rukh plays a dwarf, is scheduled to release in theatres during Christmas next year.

In the end of the film srk wore langot when he was wrestling with his friend. Trust me he looked much better as a wrestler than salman. And by the way I am not srk fan but saying the truth.

I am dying to watch Srk in Raees & this Anand’s movie-Srk performance seems solid in Raees(as judged by teaser) and this will be another challenging role-I just love Srk in challenging roles.Secondly Both Raees and this movie have chances to work both in classes and masses.Srk last few releases struggled to get appreciation from class audience even Fan couldnot because of in convincing plot in 2nd half.I am not having high hopes from Imtiaz-Srk next from BO point of view but I love Imtiaz movies and hope he stick to his style rather than looking at BO prospects and comprise on his style.but this Anand’s movie and Raees are so special

They have called Tere Naam & Dabangg belongs to Salman like Munna Bhai belongs to Sanju Baba, Rancho belongs to Aamir & Rohit belongs to Hrithik. Srk may be good at Romance but lacks aura or charisma like Salman carry Radhey and Chulbul !!!!!!!! Looks like you are a blind fanatic n not a sensible fan !!!!!!!!

@hrithik- You are also a blind fanatic and not an insensible fan since Dabangg seems to you as a role which requires acting!! And Radhey had aura and charisma?? That cringeworthy hairstyle coupled with amateur acting,it is called aura and charisma?—Which expert calls Lallu a good actor? Even if we accept that Lallu delivered oscar worthy performance in Tere Naam and Dabangg isn’t it too less considering he has already passed 28 years in Bollywood? Whereas SRK has more than over 20 roles where we have seen him as an actor delivering and emoting as a great actor is required to do. Let’s not even talk about awards since it is a shame that Lallu hasn’t even won one single Filmfare as a lead whereas Aamir has even more awards than Lallu inspite of not attending at awards. (Still nothing compared to SRK) Not that I am saying I like Aamir still it shows if you are worthy, not even the most partial juries can hold it away from you for long.Lallu can’t even emote, let alone talking about expressions. But one thing I would admit that Lallu has improved a lot recently, his movies and acting are watchable now which wasn’t even the case 5 years ago.

@NN : We don’t need any awards to prove Salman stardom. It is needed by stardom less queen to show off. Audience rewards are real who spents their hard earned money on Salman movies than Srk movies. @Hrithik-Your comment clearly shows why Lallu’s fanbase is called rickshawala fanbase. Whenever we talk about “quality” they run off blabbering their rickshawala fans spend more on Lallu than on SRK. Whereas SRK even has fans in countries where Hindi cinema doesn’t get released. That’s why SRK is awarded internationally where Lallu doesn’t even have fans internationally. What Lallu is achieving after 2010, SRK has already achieved more after 1995 and 2000. So you keep idolising your 2010 born classless criminal Lallujaan.

@Hrithik-Keep barking about Fan, it will take trillion births of Lallu to make an offbeat thriller genre movie like Fan, let alone give a path breaking performance in it. Films of this kind only appeals to a limited audience and Fan only reached to those audience and that to successfully. And don’t bark about NRI films and pairing with Kajol. All the actresses who worked with SRK milked the profit out of him, be it Anushka or Deepika. All those movies were successful internationally. Were films like KKHH, RNBDJ and CE NRI films?They became top actresses by working with him and didn’t have to star in hate story 3 after working with Lallu.
@NN : IF you do not a valid answer you call it as barking. Can you tell me why movies like CDI and FAN flopped in overseas despite having SRK in one of the best roles of his career ? It is nothing like he commands the following in overseas the NRI audience like only the fairytale stories and good pairing. RNBJ was a YRF movie and CE, should I talk about Deepika now ? FAN was an utter flop both in domestic and overseas that is worldwide. How many people it reached out of 3.7 billions ? Not even 3.7 millions !!!!!!!!!!!! Lol

How could a thriller film like Don 2 with 2/3 songs be a hit in overseas with no romance and no fairy tale stories? Was Dil Se a fairy tale story or a YRF product?? How could it be the first Indian movie to be in the top 10 in UK? You are calling Fan an utter flop in overseas? It earned more than Lallu’s commercial Ek the tiger in overseas and is a hit in overseas. Now YRF product Sultan can’t beat Red Chillies contentless Dilwale in overseas. Failure of CDI in overseas proved that overseas audiences aren’t all NRIs(otherwise they would have liked patriotic stories) and that YRF has nothing to do with overseas success. CE had a rustic backdrop based on south but still managed to do huge business overseas where people don’t even know the name of deepika. Is it SRK’s fault that in spite of having ravishing beauties like Katrina and Jackeline Lallu can’t make good pairings and sucks at romance? How would he? It takes a MAN to romance a woman and Lallu isn’t even a man, he is a virgin criminal who abuses his women. And if fairy tale stories were the secret of success than how could Lallu’s Janemann Bomb? Wasn’t it supposed to take the boxoffice by storm as it was based on foreign locations? Whereas SRK has more than 23 overseas blockbusters overseas and has proved himself to be the baap of consistency.
