Tanu Weds Manu Returns director Aanand L. Rai has said he has been working hard on his next directorial venture starring Shah Rukh Khan in the lead, but the script is taking more time than expected.
“Please wait. I am working, I am a very hardworking person and even now I work a lot.” he said at the trailer launch of his production ‘Happy Bhaag Jayegi’
When asked about the rumours that have been circulating about the film, including the signing of Katrina Kaif as the female lead, Rai said the film is very important for him.
“I am still working on the story. But yes, definitely I can say that it is a love story on which I am working. It is a very important film for me as a director, it will take a little more time than what I was expecting and I’m working on that.”
The film, where Shah Rukh plays a dwarf, is scheduled to release in theatres during Christmas next year.
Best of luck Anand sir, we want to see another path breaking performance from the acting legend SRK like we have seen in so many memorable SRK films. Box office is important but not as important as quality. Hope you bring out newer shades of SRK in this film as this guy, I mean SRK, is a stunning revelation as an actor to be concise.

Because the forthcoming venture of Anand seeks a ‘potential actor’ as lead and we all know the acting limitations of our poor non-actor.

Anand L Rai’s movie looks best for Srk sir as far as BO is concerned out of the three upcoming movies in raees, imtiyaz’s next and this dwarf movie. But as a user has already mentioned I too want SRK sir to work with big commercial directors like KJO or Aditya Chopra and release the movie on his favourite Diwali weekend. If that happens then RIP all BO records.
