The awards season has begun, but the organisers of these shows are in a big fix. The leading contender for the Best Actor award this year is Aamir Khan, who delivered arguably his career-best performance in PK. But Aamir doesn’t attend Indian awards, he never has in the last 15 years or so.
On the other hand, the most deserving female contender for the Best Actress trophy is Kangana Ranaut for Queen. Reports suggest, even she has decided to give the awards show a skip this year.
A jury member of a popular awards show, who didn’t want to be named, said “We think Aamir for PK and Kangana Ranaut for Queen are the unanimous choices for Best Actor and Best Actress this year. But we’re told those both won’t attend. Since the awards are a visual vehicle these days with crores sanctioned by television channels to capture the event, to not have both the best actress and actor around to receive their trophies is problematic”
A source added that the second most popular choice this year has agreed to attend the awards show, provided his co-star gets the Best Actress trophy.
“When this Khan was invited to come for the function and collect the Best Actor award he laid down the condition that he would only do so provided his co-star gets the Best Actress award. We all know neither deserves an award. But we have no choice.”

yes.. both deserves best actor/actress awards ( also the 2 films, Queen and PK deserve awards).. and if they deserve to be.. so it’s not a problem if they won’t attend the ceremony.. everyone got the reasons for not attending any show or any function.. but I hope that Kangana Ranut would changer her mind as it’s her first winning, as best actress, and she should not miss this opportunity. Aamir already won and everyone know that he’d never attend these shows, it doesn’t matter at all.. the most important is that the judges this year made their justice for the true actors who deserves to win.. thank you.

amir’s act in pk is too much overrated.that can’t be called a classic act neither the film pk as a classic.so I voted this Filmfare for Shahid Kapoor as best actor in HAIDER and Kangana Ranaut as best actress in queen.

Besides National Film Awards, the award show that has a tiny bit appreciation from my side is the Screen Awards which even though has 100s of categories to please everyone still manages to award deserving, critically acclaimed, and smaller films for Best Film like it did when it awarded Udaan and Paan Singh Tomar, among others.

hey please, ranbir is just media created hype star. Just saw 2 hrs of shit gossip regarding rk-kat getting cozy on jagga jusus set. On every media channel n gossip show, ranbir is shown.

These cheap people (Amir kangana) are most arrogant. Actually they want to get award every year if they don’t get they boycott it. But srk is most humble and down to earth and don’t want disappoint organizer and help them to get trp. Even though he don’t get award still he attend, host and dance just to entertain people. He didn’t won any award since MNIK but still he joined it. He has won 8 filmfare in 23 years but he still attend every year. These cheap are trying to malign others work. Indicine is trying to get more eyeballs publishing this kind of articles.

keep your advice to yourself..This article does not state that it was srk who demanded award for his co star…And performance wise HNY was not an award winning performance….And the article clearly say the 2nd most popular choice…It may be Salman khan who want an award for Jacqoline…As deepika swept many awards in the past…Deepika is not like a person who forget that who gave her ist chance..she will never left srk company …when you have srk you does not need any one else..

In an interview of Akshay Kumar when asked about award functions,akki said I don’t bother about awards, he told one incident when award organisers said him that they will give award to him if he charge half charges for performance,then he said I don’t need award I can only perform if you give my demanded fees for that.
This is credibility of award functions, Salman who was awarded since Dabamgg for actor awards he never took them even though he presented there,that’s why in big entertainer award which Sakman hosting,the entertainer awards goes to srk while we all know Kick were highest grosser till the functions happened and Salman was responsible for that more.
