Shah Rukh Khan has hinted that Red Chillies Entertainment and Excel Entertainment’s Raees, could be pushed to a later date if Yash Raj Films’ Sultan is ready for a Eid release next year.
DNA India, which carried an article earlier this week that Sultan was postponed, have quoted Shah Rukh as saying “I guess we (Raees) could shift. But I don’t know the readiness of Sultan. Raees will be ready in January, in like 20 days. Plus, they all are friends – Adi (Aditya Chopra), Salman, Ali (Abbas Zafar), I know them all”
A source at YRF had informed us on Wednesday that their film would be ready in time for Eid. Sultan director Ali Abbas Zafar had also spoken about requiring only 90 more days to complete the film.
From a trade point of view, the big clash between Raees and Sultan does not make any sense whatsoever. Both makers will lose money and no one stands to gain. The battle will only be about egos, much like the clash between Bajirao Mastani and Dilwale.
Even averting clashes has now become a ego game, because it was Excel Entertainment who first finalised their film for Eid 2016.
For Shah Rukh, it’s also about spacing out his films. FAN releases mid-April and releasing Raees less than 3 months after the film, wouldn’t be a great idea.
If Raees is ready by January and will only take a couple of months for post production so I don’t see any reason pushing it to a later date..Also when last time SRK released his film in Eid it became the highest grosser ever so he should stick to that date…Also,SRK himself said that Raees is perfect for Eid so it should release because the teaser is simply outstanding so it just needs an equally well accepted trailer and good promotional strategies coupled with good content and then the film will surely do very well..
RITESH SIDHWANI will never postpone ,because HE has TRUST on RAEES.

For your information SRK is running scared he reviewed the content of Raees and has come to the realization that it cannot withstand Sultan in a clash and therefore even though he has been trying to persuade Salman to postpone to no avail because Salman’s released date was announced long before he decided to target Eid. Also. he knows that at this present time Salman is leading box office and is Bollywood most bankable star and he cannot afford another embarrassing situation. Even so Salman popularity has increased overseas and his career has been sliding for quite sometime and it would be to his benefit to postpone his release.
I am a firm believer one must always quit when its going great don’t wait for a further slide because you will slide all the way out.
SRK ego has been bent out of shape at the moment and he cannot afford to have another disappointment he will not be able to get over it so easily. Plus although he has a good fan following he does not have friends to give him support when he truly needs it because he has run all his friends because of his ego and arrogance, one did not even see any support from Karan Johar, Farah Khan in this recent debacle, how sad.

SRK haters open your eyes alraedy in week one world wide gross of Dilwale is 227 Crore and BM is 140 Crore only . Budget of Dilwale is 110 Crore BM budget is 120 Crore. Other revenues of Dilwale is 85 Crore BM only 55 Crore so if ur maths is good then u can simply see that Dilwale is super hit and BM can be max a simple Hit

After his Dilwale clashed with Bajirao Mastani clashed this yea Shah Rukh Khan will have his film Raees clashing with Salman Khan’s Sultan. Time and again, there have been talks of one of them shifting the release date. For the first time SRK talks about a possibility of shifting his Raees.

As for Dilwale its screening is reduced in week
two. However film has still got potential to do
good business if performs on good level in
coming Holiday week. As per estimates Dilwale
is set to get around 1500-1600 screens in
comparison to around 2900 screens in first week.
Thus, film screening is reduced by 45% from first
